Is there a way to opt out? I tried looking up for the sake of my artwork, but seems in the US there was a way to do it but it gotten taken out. Is this true?

I don’t think so my friend. Once you have any social media account you are agreeing to it. The only thing they don’t share or use is your private information such as home address, phone number, messages with friends or anything that’s private, but pictures and videos is fair game.
      Why?
Because it enters public domain. The same way it’s legal for someone to video tape you or take your picture and post it without your consent the same way they can do this. What they can’t do is make money out of it without your concept.

If you live in a country that has laws protecting personal data on the internet or something along those lines. You may have the right to object to Meta using your personal data for AI training.
I know that in Brazil and Europe there are laws like this. I'm Brazilian and I managed to open a request and Meta responded by applying the request. Meta calls this "The right to object", and the Brazilian law I cited in the request was the "General Personal Data Protection Law".

In some countries, Meta itself provides the option for people to object to having their data used for AI training. Meta named this “the right to object.”
This happens because in European countries and Brazil there are laws regarding people's privacy on the internet and give people the right to object to having their data used to train Meta's AI (or for anything else).
I'm from Brazil and I sent a request citing the "General Personal Data Protection Law" that is in force in Brazil and I promptly received a response saying that my request was accepted.
