one of the many highlights of bachelor route is when you do all that work to get into the abattoir and as soon as you take two steps in, you get the living daylights beaten out of you
I was so fascinated by the potential of what I'd find within. What could it be? The mysterious source of the infection? A new character, willing to unveil and do away with all of the lies and secrecy of the others? An explanation into the strange world of the Kin? and then someone just rugby tackles poor Dankovsky and beats the crap out of him
@@HorrorGameAnalysis it's pretty funny, is the thing. dankovsky barely even reacts in the cutscene, he just kinda accepts it and stands there as he gets pummeled by butchers. not that he'd win if he fought back, but still
@@MewHeroHero It would be funny, if we hadn't just been through a hell of a lot to get five steps inside. But you're right, I think part of it might just be the general limitations of the animation software (as they made their own engine, I am pretty sure) so the whole scene has a slightly campy, low-budget feel.
@@sky-kc3xl Oh, that's cool! I didn't realize. I thought they'd developed their own engine for the game; did they modify the Unreal Engine in any way? That might be where I heard that.
Glad I ain't the only one who feels the atmosphere in the first one is just so unique & prefers it over what Patho 2 went with (even if it's still interesting too)

@@HorrorGameAnalysis pathologic classic was on a VERY old version of unreal engine.

3:00 hardest beat switch of all time
God the soundtrack from this game is what made me fall in love with it, wish Pathologic 2 had this kind of vibe too.

One of my favorite tracks in the game
Music feels a bit like the old Dune game climate. Pathologic is awesome, hope we see 2nd part finished one day.
Ah yes! 4:00 is a motif for the combat version! How lovely to see them together.

Love the drums from 3:16 onwards
Do you have extended version of this?
I don't - but I can have a go at making one at some stage! Until then you can always right click, then "loop" it.
@@HorrorGameAnalysis thank you. Hope some day
@@mesgard8624 Will try my best when I get some free time!
