Its work was going on under the Ministry of Rural Development of Bihar Government. Union Minister Gadkari has given this clarification on the collapse of this bridge.

Last year a bridge on ganga constructed at the cost of Rs 1200 cr collapsed.
Now another bridge constructed at rs 12 cr has collapsed .
Now it is time all bridges in Bihar are to be built by TATAS.or reputed duly supervised by team of IIT professors.All the Engineer should be demoted to Masaons.
