I might just be reading too much into it but the scene where Nayeon and Namra walking out of the same apartment and Nayeon calling her name seems deeper to me. Nayeon sees Namra as a person who is on her level, She calls her several time but gets ignored due to her headphones. It seems thay since they are both rich, Nayeon wants to befriend her and hangout, or maybe walk to school together even though she keeps on talking shit behind her back. That is why Namra smacking her probably hurted her ego even more. in her head she thinks "How can a fellow rich elite take the side of an inferior dirty welfie!!!??" And probably the reason why she cries "what makes gyeoungsu better than me?"
Yeah I thought that too. I think it was also out of a true desire to have a friend with whom she can enjoy the same stuff, fangirl about the same boy bands because they're on the same level.
Regarding the last one, I think it's implied that Gyeong-su might've liked Na-yeon on some level, especially considering how he interacts with her during that 'running to school' scene and how he sits on her desk before class starts. What he sees as playful friendliness and potentially flirting, Na-yeon seems to see as rude or harmful behavior. The others also seem to expect a growing romance while watching her 'apologize' to him in the recording booth, and Gyeong-su is notably quick to forgive her (albeit also likely just a trait of his own personality). This playful flirting from Gyeong-su also mirrors how his best friend Cheong-san treats his crush On-jo early on, which is shown to have the same adverse effect on On-jo's beliefs about her friendship with him. If I had to guess, Na-yeon's lack of trust and overall negative behavior appears to stem from her rich background, which has segmented her from the others and left her with little actual friendship. This is similar to how the group admits their bias against Nam-ra due to her wealth and quietness being attributed as a superiority complex; the difference being that Na-yeon actually portrays herself as such far more than Nam-ra ever does. You can see very early on that Na-yeon attempts to reach out to others, such as Nam-ra while walking to school, but only finds success through gossip. She's been trained by her experiences, such as the successes of gossip, to toss others under the bus in order to keep herself standing at the top - which is also a fairly clear symbol of classism that she heavily imbues. Because of this defensive mindset, she sees Gyeong-su's behavior as harmful and his later opposition of her defensive personality as a threat, and therefore resorts to those tactics of attacking him through classism, fear-mongering, and eventual murder. You can clearly see through her words before leaving the broadcasting room ("I have no friends"), and her smile while watching the bonding and messages of the others from the camera, that she longs for connections and friends which she has long lacked. Unfortunately, in contrast to Nam-ra, she went about the wrong way of attempting to gain those friends and paid the consequences.

Don't know about you all but back in my highschool days I have seen my fellow 7th graders who have never seen a motorbike in his whole life decided to street motor race simply to prove himself with his street friends. We did stupid things to prove ourselves as kids so all of their "stupid" decisions are actually quite well-justified for their age even to that of Na-yeon's
I think the reason na yeon doesn't have any friends and made gyeong su turn into a zombie is because she just misunderstood gyeong su and everyone else. *IMO* she wasn't really bad, she just wanted attention and friends but at the same time she didn't know how to befriend anyone. (keep in mind that this is my opinion and ik what she did to gyeong su wasn't really "forgivible".)
I honestly wished people would learn to handle their ego better. If na yeon would have handled hers', gyeong su would be alive. If gwi name would have handled his', he wouldn't need to chase down cheong san for making his video and he wouldn't be infected and neither would be name ra then.
i wonder wheather in the webtoon they show nayeon a little bit more. i think its strange that she was rich and a little bit more styled up but then wasnt even populer nor did she have any friends and in the first episode she tried to talk to nam ra but nam ra didnt hear her. i thought she might wanted to make some friends desperatly because she obvisouly didnt have any at all. then she sees gyongsu (who also makes fun of her sometimes but im sure he just liked her a lot) having friends and since she hates him she gets extremly jealous (like she said "why is he better than me" after killing him) her character made me sad because all i saw was a small girl trying her hardest to make friends which is just imposible since she is too egocentric and gets jealous way too fast and did a fatal mistake; killing the person she was jeasoul of just to get recognition. i think she was well written.. and its sad that there are a lot of people out there with similar traits who desperately want to be loved and liked but they just cant get out of their own character in order to change and be more likeable. since their is this saying that "you have to break one's character in order to change it" im pretty sure nayeon, broken after what she did and how her classmates hated her, was about to change but im sure that even then no one would have talked to her.. a sad tragedy yet well written
Yess we see Nayeon remove hers in the first room then Namra takes hers off when they relocate to the next one, you can see it sitting on the ground next to her
The knife that gwi-nam used to stab the zombies was the same knife he used to kill the principal, right? and the same knife he threw at cheong-san. I was wondering if I missed the scene where he cleaned the knife because otherwise, the principal and cheong-san should have turned into zombies.
The knife never cut into CS’s skin, the handle hit his back. Gwi Nam does the wipe the knife on his shirt after killing the principal plus he holds the knife between his teeth the night before when he’s cycling away from the zombies. So he must’ve cleaned the knife before killing the principal too And either way, the principal died in 0.1 seconds. Normal zombies also appear to die with a hit to the neck. If the principal was already a zombie, the knife slash would’ve killed his zombie. But he dies before a possible infection from the bloodied knife has a chance to activate in him.
@@Good_day_26 i actually rewatched this scene and got extremely confused, it really looked like he got bit but i couldn't see any bite marks left, so I don't know what to think about it🤨 but it would be cool if he got bitten and was immune (or something) and if he had more important role in the next season cuz he's such an underrated character:(
I thought this would be full of hyo-ryung cuz all of her doing things and helping is at the back and all of the people missed it and call her useless 😐 I just hope that one person do that kind of video and it blow up and alot of people know now that hyo-ryung helped.
I feel like if Na-yeon didn’t end up being evil, her and Gyeong-su would have been a cute couple. I also felt like her character didn’t get enough screen time. I kind of wish she didn’t die right away when she was trying to make up for her actions. Obviously, food wouldn’t have made up for someone’s life, but I would’ve liked to see her attempts in making it right and how to group would’ve reacted to her showing up.
@@nerdysuletherobloxgod6142 She started it first lol. She’s not being vengeful. She‘s got a superiority complex and a shit ton of pride and can’t digest why this “undeserving” welfie guy has friends and support, why even Nam Ra, a cultured tax-paying educated kid from a respectable neighbourhood like herself is siding with the likes of Gyeong Su, a parasite that survives on her (parent’s) tax but dares to act like he could ever be her equal and dirties her neighbourhood and class desk by his uninvited presence. Then she can’t stand being in the wrong, is scared of being further isolated and distrusted by the group, resorts to murder to prove herself right, denies and denies and tries to throw blame around on someone, anyone else because she also can’t admit guilt - to the others or herself and finally we get some redemption & character development towards the end of her arc
Kinda wish we got some development for Gyeong-su and Na-yeo. Her reasons for hating him and killing him seemed really random and shallow, Gyeong-su doesn't even seem to hate her and his playful back slap seems almost like he has a crush on her but nothing happens between them until she kills him. Even with him going out his way to help her makes it seem more like that. After he dies she spends like 6 episodes sitting in a closet feeling guilt for murdering somebody before dying so we never got any sort of explanation of her actions or their history. Maybe that's the Korean way of writing these things where somebody is just shown as evil with no reasoning or motive other than selfishness but it seemed like a missed opportunity to build something. She doesn't grow and change through the show, she remains selfish and bratty then dies and it makes her whole character pretty dumb. Lee Yoo-mi's character in Squid Game got more development in 2 and a half episodes than Na-yeo got in like 8 episodes.
It was explained why she hates him and why would she change after turning him into a zombie ? She only felt guilty because her classmates were calling her murder. She is a rich person who looks down on poor people and didn't even apologize and told him she will still look down on and even mocked him. what makes you think after turning him into a zombie will make her change?
@@zannys5133 oh idk.. maybe the fact that even though she is rich or whatever, during the zombie apocalypse they are the same. She was useless from the very start of the series, just snapping at people and telling them what to do while shivering in the background. However, from what I gathered she was very insecure, and jealous of him for having friends and being more popular than her. She wouldn't outright admit that ever.. But it was still such a dumb reason to kill an innocent.
Think it's just her being petty and jealous. She assumed and accused him of being a zombie, then realized she might be wrong after all when everyone took his side and showed he wasn't bit. Then this unwillingness to admit that she's wrong and apologize to the person that she's always looked down on (for being poor) and jealous towards (for having friends) made her kill him on impulse (to prove everyone she's right that he's indeed a zombie). The class president saw through it though and then she was forced to face the consequences of her actions. Not only to be left all alone, but to be ridden with guilt, to become partly responsible for their teacher's death, and then not being given the opportunity to repent for her actions (died before she could). Instead of expecting character development from her, her story seems more like just showing what karma can do to you.
yeah like I wished she got a backstory since the excuse was so lame and her character was interesting 😭. and on top of that her character development wasn’t really good as you said….like ok fine she was going to go up to the roof to give them food, but what about before when they were literally banging on the door for it to open ? and her death didn’t make an impact compared to the other characters for me since her death was so all of a sudden
Maybe because she's garbage and trashy and the writers just wanted the viewers to see her that way. Selfish, arrogant and a bitchy brat that was as empty on the inside as she is on the outside. She's a hollow person.
another thing I noticed was that Gyeong-su had helped Na-yeon into the window when they were climbing down. I think they would be really be cute together if Na-yeon didn't kill him. I would like to have actually seen her apologize with him and they both could have had character development together. Their relationship might have even changed the show and how the character act.
Too bad we don't know what's the story with Na-yeon (to explain her behaviour) as the director said it ended up being cut from the series. It was supposed to show her family dynamics. I don't think Gyeong-su was being malicious when he 'pushed' Na-yeon at the complex. What was meant to be a pat on the back ended up being a push as he was running. He even yelled out something like See you later after that.
What's there to tell? Nayeon is a rich kid who lives in apartments of self entitled pricks (except Nam-ra), it's clear that the people in that complex are assholes as their gate had a sign saying "People who pay rent are not welcome here" basically people with lower income. Which explains Nayeon's behaviour throughout the series.
To Gyeoungsu, its just friendly teasing fun and games, like most highschoolers do. To Nayeon who does not have friends and don't know how to deal with the kind of interaction: She sees it as someone personally trying to degrade her..
@@prettyc1trus11 She lives in a place full of self entitled assholes, obviously that is gonna influence her behaviour. How is she mistreated? She's literally got everything, a nice place, nice clothes and if you've noticed, her backpack looks much more fancier than the rest of her classmates. She's clearly spoilt. She enjoys belittling people who aren't as lucky as her and she wonders why she doesn't have any friends. Knowing her full backstory or not, there is absolutely NOTHING that should be used to justify what she did to Gyeong-su. You just can't justify it, it was pure evil.
Do you remember when Cheong-san fell out of the window? At first, it was just him and the zombies in that scene. But, in the next episode, that revealed what happened, we were able to see Su-hyeok near the pipe. And plus, at the end, we could also see Gwi-nam shed a tear!
@@DetailsWithMike I've no idea about that, but maybe it's because deep down, he was a good guy but the way he was being treated and called out names like " The bullies gopher, Chicken shit" and, stuffs like that, pretty much made him the evil character. During the fight at the school rooftop, when Cheong-san called him out like that, he actually said "Don't call me that". If they were willing to talk things out, then maybe he could've been brought to their side. Well, let's leave the rest for the director lol. Btw, keep up the good work!!
that gyeongsu last scene was so heartbreaking that i remember how many times i have cursed nayeon. but then again, when she was ready to changed and was about to bring the students some food, she got killed. too late though :(
Did the kids ever say a damn thing about the girl who left the other girl for dead in the rain? She got infected but no one said a thing about her ever again lmao
That was such an odd turn for Jimin's character coz up till that point she was a fairly strong character in helping the group out, so for her to suddenly abandon Hyoryeong was so weird. Also I mean Hyoryeong could literally have stood up, she wasted so much time 😂
I really thought Gyeong-su and Na-yeon is gonna end up in a chemistry in that broadcasting room when she was wiping his blood. But little did we know what was it about :)
I wanted to keep this in myself but tbh, I shipped nayeon and gyeongsu. Thought that maybe it was not really that hate but denying to themselves that they like each other little by little. Nayeon just let her immaturity reign that's why it ended like that. Too bad, I can feel chemistry between themಥ‿ಥ
I felt the same. It could have been a really cute enemies-to-lovers, star-crossed lovers scenario. But alas, it was not to be. All we got was heartbreak from one of my favourite characters being killed off so pointlessly
I think before they started calling each other names, Gyeongsu was pretty neutral about Nayeon and just liked fooling around and annoy her for fun. He liked being funny around her and everything. But when she started insulting him and calling him a welfie amongst everything else, he was just seriously hurt and started retorting things as well.
When gyeong su helped na yeon from the zombie outbreak it made me realize that na Yeon doesn't even have a heart for gyeong su that helped her from being attacked by the zombies and she didn't even care that lead her to have an argument with him in the room where they stayed for the night and killed/infected him because of that.
I don’t know if Gyeong Su likes Na-Yeon at first because he also playfully flirted with I-sak and right before she died he made sure to check on her and asked if she was okay he was technically the only other person who didn’t run when I-sak turned into a zombie as well he even asked if she was okay but he kind of got rejected by her and she just went to Onjo lol
The show likes to mess with us, don't they? -They killed Gyeong-Su -They killed (I think, Season 2 coming) Cheong-San -They killed Na-Yeon RIGHT when she was about to be good

I have a funny question that is by biting only a person may convert into zombie right... I just saw something. There's a part where Nayeon holds onto Jimin's arm. . . . . It's the part where Daesoo breaks the door to put the zombies away. And then the girls start walking with them, you can see Nayeon holding onto Jimin's arm. 04:33 after this part.

if you look really closely wu jin was helping too with dea soo and i cant remember the guy with glasses name but he was helping too'
I didn’t know how gyeong su was kind to na yeon
He was dragging her too
don't cry :(
and by the way im your new subscriber☺☺☺
i think gyeong-su didnt hate her, he just liked tease her but na-yeon made him to hate her as we saw he wanted to forgive her.
I honestly wished people would learn to handle their ego better. If na yeon would have handled hers', gyeong su would be alive. If gwi name would have handled his', he wouldn't need to chase down cheong san for making his video and he wouldn't be infected and neither would be name ra then.
Wait like namra nayeon was also not wearing the bow
I already saw gyeong-su dragging na-yeon- but, i didnt know cheong-san was in the back🧐
I just learned su-Hyeok practiced karate when they where making th movie
i wonder wheather in the webtoon they show nayeon a little bit more. i think its strange that she was rich and a little bit more styled up but then wasnt even populer nor did she have any friends and in the first episode she tried to talk to nam ra but nam ra didnt hear her.
i thought she might wanted to make some friends desperatly because she obvisouly didnt have any at all.
then she sees gyongsu (who also makes fun of her sometimes but im sure he just liked her a lot) having friends and since she hates him she gets extremly jealous (like she said "why is he better than me" after killing him)
her character made me sad because all i saw was a small girl trying her hardest to make friends which is just imposible since she is too egocentric and gets jealous way too fast and did a fatal mistake; killing the person she was jeasoul of just to get recognition.
i think she was well written.. and its sad that there are a lot of people out there with similar traits who desperately want to be loved and liked but they just cant get out of their own character in order to change and be more likeable.
since their is this saying that "you have to break one's character in order to change it" im pretty sure nayeon, broken after what she did and how her classmates hated her, was about to change but im sure that even then no one would have talked to her.. a sad tragedy yet well written
can you comment on my other videos?
So nam-ra was the only one with no bow tie? Well I think u forgot about na-yeong she wasn't wearing a bow tie
So he must’ve cleaned the knife before killing the principal too
And either way, the principal died in 0.1 seconds. Normal zombies also appear to die with a hit to the neck. If the principal was already a zombie, the knife slash would’ve killed his zombie. But he dies before a possible infection from the bloodied knife has a chance to activate in him.
I have one question. If U-Sin got bit. Why didnt he turn? Is he inume?
I thought I was the only one who noticed 😭 I think he’s immune too
Who’s u-sin?
@@kuronerowy i think he's the firefighter that worked with onjo's dad
@@caroline-fy2gi yes and he clearly looked like he got bitten but never turned 👀 everyone just seemed to forget about him though.
@@Good_day_26 i actually rewatched this scene and got extremely confused, it really looked like he got bit but i couldn't see any bite marks left, so I don't know what to think about it🤨 but it would be cool if he got bitten and was immune (or something) and if he had more important role in the next season cuz he's such an underrated character:(
I noticed when he saved na-yeon
Wow spot on!
I thought this would be full of hyo-ryung cuz all of her doing things and helping is at the back and all of the people missed it and call her useless 😐
I just hope that one person do that kind of video and it blow up and alot of people know now that hyo-ryung helped.

The movie kinda scared me, once I got a nosebleed and then I was like “AHHHHHHHHH BATHROOM!!!” and I screamed and ran like Naruto 🤣
I cannot believe Chong su save nayoen in the school and nayoen kill Chong su😢
At de school. Wen on jo was scrats.

Is it just me or On-Jo using IpX then using IP 6 during the class? *sorry bad english :(
I think she borrow someone phone
Su hyeok

I shipna-yeon and cheongsan but irl they are not together😟
idk if im the only one who thinks this but im pretty sure Han Gyeong-su's friends treated him for lunch during the cafeteria scene
school cafeteria food can be free sometimes especially for kids from low income households
If gyeong su is not dead cheong san is not dead too bc gyeong su sacrified his self
Nam Ra not having her tie is probably to show that she is different from everyone in the group
I feel like if Na-yeon didn’t end up being evil, her and Gyeong-su would have been a cute couple. I also felt like her character didn’t get enough screen time. I kind of wish she didn’t die right away when she was trying to make up for her actions. Obviously, food wouldn’t have made up for someone’s life, but I would’ve liked to see her attempts in making it right and how to group would’ve reacted to her showing up.
yea.. kind of a waste of a deep developed character :(
Yeah her stunt is too much for a person who are scared of zombies.
shes still a zombie and the heat from the missle will change the virus inside some of the zombies
Ikrrr like character dev I guess??? You go queen?? 😭😭

Anyone else get the feeling that the assembly woman in the pink suit was Namra's mom?
I did, I was actually waiting for that woman to say that her daughter is in Hyosan High school too.
I was thinking about it
The businesswoman, right? I was thinking about it because her and Nam-ra both seem similar
I thought so too! Hahahhah
She also plays a zombie surivivor in Happiness

welcome to kdrama
Cause he sometimes get mad at her so thats why she didnt like him
@@nerdysuletherobloxgod6142
She started it first lol.
Gyeongsu 😭😭 he could be a true hero if he survived. NAYEON CAN ROOT!!!

Nayeon and Namra’s families are those who appear in penthouse drama and skycastle
@@OutOfPocket-h9e we still don't know her back story...rich kids are often mistreated, or don't meet their own parents
Why did he shed a tear?
@@DetailsWithMike I've no idea about that, but maybe it's because deep down, he was a good guy but the way he was being treated and called out names like " The bullies gopher, Chicken shit" and, stuffs like that, pretty much made him the evil character. During the fight at the school rooftop, when Cheong-san called him out like that, he actually said "Don't call me that". If they were willing to talk things out, then maybe he could've been brought to their side. Well, let's leave the rest for the director lol. Btw, keep up the good work!!

that gyeongsu last scene was so heartbreaking that i remember how many times i have cursed nayeon. but then again, when she was ready to changed and was about to bring the students some food, she got killed. too late though :(
Too bad he got killed by the person he saved
And she got killed by gwi nam later
Did anyone else notice that Gyeongsu had a bottle *literally in-front* of him
I noticed too
Did the kids ever say a damn thing about the girl who left the other girl for dead in the rain? She got infected but no one said a thing about her ever again lmao
That was such an odd turn for Jimin's character coz up till that point she was a fairly strong character in helping the group out, so for her to suddenly abandon Hyoryeong was so weird. Also I mean Hyoryeong could literally have stood up, she wasted so much time 😂
@@itsqueerinhere literally none of the kids asked about her tho right lmao?
I really thought Gyeong-su and Na-yeon is gonna end up in a chemistry in that broadcasting room when she was wiping his blood. But little did we know what was it about :)
Tell me why I thought the same 😂 but no she killed him and thought a simple apology would make everything better
I ship them too 😎
I think before they started calling each other names, Gyeongsu was pretty neutral about Nayeon and just liked fooling around and annoy her for fun. He liked being funny around her and everything. But when she started insulting him and calling him a welfie amongst everything else, he was just seriously hurt and started retorting things as well.
What Gyeong Su is doing to Na-Yeon : helping her live
How Gyeong Su gets paid back by Na-Yeon : *I N F E C T S H I M*
When gyeong su helped na yeon from the zombie outbreak it made me realize that na Yeon doesn't even have a heart for gyeong su that helped her from being attacked by the zombies and she didn't even care that lead her to have an argument with him in the room where they stayed for the night and killed/infected him because of that.
I don't think she realised he helped her, you could see that her eyes are too focused on the Zombie to fully be aware of her surroundings-
I missed the last and the most important detail. Woah... I'm speechless 😶
Gyeoung Su😭😭
Gyeong-su:why didn’t u pour coke in my cup?
Cheong-san:I literally have a cup in my hand
Lol
My second time watching the series and didn’t realize Gyeong-Su is a true hero
I don’t know if Gyeong Su likes Na-Yeon at first because he also playfully flirted with I-sak and right before she died he made sure to check on her and asked if she was okay he was technically the only other person who didn’t run when I-sak turned into a zombie as well he even asked if she was okay but he kind of got rejected by her and she just went to Onjo lol
The show likes to mess with us, don't they?
-They killed Gyeong-Su
-They killed (I think, Season 2 coming) Cheong-San
-They killed Na-Yeon RIGHT when she was about to be good

Nam-ra for life Su-hyeok its handsome same as Cheong-san but im more handsome lol jokes
I have a funny question that is by biting only a person may convert into zombie right... So i clear u that by biting a person do not transmits zombie by the saliva having in there teeth and biting the person makes zombie right..
So during the kiss scene of nam ra and su hyeok on that time nam ra was a hambie soo she could transferred some virus into su hyuek...
There must be a cut for the saliva or the infective fluid to enter into the blood circulation, that's why zombies bite...
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
