You guys are making some great equipment. I have one of your Helion jackets and it’s super warm in the winter. I’m looking forward to this APOC. I also work for a law enforcement agency in Ohio who utilizes outer carriers and I’d love for our agency to move to a carrier like this. Keep up the great work!
@@timmarshall3651 yeah it’s an option, but the layers of the velcro for the sidekicks can affect how placards lay on the carrier. I don’t like adding additional layers to the front if I don’t have to. If you mount things internally to the cummerbunds ( like radios ) it effects your ability to utilize your QD’s on your cummerbund. If it’s hard mounted to the soft armor wing you can freely disconnect it without worrying about unplugging wires. Shaw concepts did it with their soft armor backer. It makes way more sense to reduce layers and further streamline and enhance the capabilities
Velcro the velcro to the velcro, so it's velcroed. Got it. Lol. Seriously, though, these are some genius designs here. So many uses for so many roles. Well done.
This is awesome. Only change I'd make would be to add either two columns of molle, some elastic pockets, or even just some extra loop on the flanks of the soft armor. Some underutilized space there that could be very handy. Very interested in this setup though.
I’ve found myself moving away from spacer mesh and more towards modular ventilation systems or a simple layer of mesh. Especially with soft armor it already acts as padding so perhaps either just a layer of mesh like what is used on the Eagle Industries CIRAS or the BAE Systems RBAV or the first spear carriers, or solid cordura with strips of velcro loop to mount pontoons or other ventilated panel solutions. Doing this will make for a slicker profile or better ventilation (less insulation) than airmesh. QD shoulder straps would also be very welcomed on the APOC but especially on the MEPC whether it’s integrated to a new version or you guys engineer some kind of adapter for existing MEPCs That’s what I’d like to see in the final version of the APOC or perhaps future revisions of the APOC and MEPC.
Just got my MEPC 2.0 a month ago, now I gotta save up again! Great products and designs. Totally worth the $$$ and wait. I can see some potential features from the APOC making their way into the MEPC 3.0 whenever that comes around.
Name plate spot on top of front bag, the integrated placard keeper, I like the zipper plate pouches with the cover for the zipper, they claim to be the same but the APOC looks like the shoulder straps are beefier IMO. And since were on this topic, something I think would be cool that others have commented on, is QD points on the shoulder straps. NOW hear me out, I know y'all designed them to route cables and such and that is a really cool feature, but if, when ordering (and it would be an extra price) to have the option to add QD points of your choosing on either single side or both at same time, giving us the options to do something like that if we don't use a recondite or only use radio cables or hydration tube on one side of your carrier. Just a thought, keep up the good work and keep taking my $$$$$$$$ :) You guys need a sales Rep in Phx, AZ and that person is me. :) @@timmarshall3651
This is gonna be awesome as a border patrol agent. Our current soft carrier and plate carrier is so cheaply made and out of date. Can’t wait to grab one of these.
The Armor Express traverse I wear the biggest complaint I always had was the bellyband. It's nice to see you guys made the belly band replaceable! Also with the traverse the cummerbund is part of the front plate bag. I'm happy to see you guys also made the cummerbund the way you did. I see this carrier fixing alot of issues. If anything I'd love to see a slick non molle rear plate bag in the future if possible!
So will point blank soft plates fit in a BALCS carrier? Or will that be a release at a later time, since much of your products are made to order seemingly. (Great products love this carrier idea)

You should add two rows of molle to the front soft armor flanks so people can hard mount things like radios, TQ’s, knives, etc.
You can use our sidekick pouches or MOLLE to the rear of the cummerbund

Molle is always better over a winger

i agree Spacer mesh sneaks up on you, would rather see a pontoons option

Really great ideas. Great work guys.😁👍🏼
Would love for you guys to collab with Donut Operator in this!! It would be cool to see what a former beat cop thinks of the innovations!
Is there a hard armor plate pocket in the back panel as well?
I need those 8 column placards with First Spear tube compatibility. Would be great for putting 4 mag pouches on the front of your MEPC
So what is the cut for the soft armor? Safariland? Point blank? Velocity? BALCS? yet another proprietary standard?
Currently BALCS
@defensemechanisms6765 well my order will be in next week than.

Are you considering Safariland soft armor cut versions in the future?
I currently have an og Gen 1 MEPC. I might just skip upgrading to MEPC 2.0 and just go straight to this
Seems neat. Price point?
Will there be a version 2.0 with two “plate lifter straps” on the inside for thinner level 4 plates?
Will there be a back panel version with zippers for pack panel attachment?
An interior loop field would be cool
Does this accept shoulder armor, similar to Sarailand Shoulder pads?
What helmet is that in the back?
Would it fit a 11"×14" plate?
The XL will
Please tell me that you will NOT sell this to the AFT
Will these be available in Dark Navy?
Yes, but you wouldn’t believe how hard it has been to make that happen.
what do you mean?@@timmarshall3651
Only if this fit my point blank stuff
Planned release date?
Its out as of the 14th
Fuck this thing is hot
