- The bridge over the fire is treacherous-thinner than a hair, sharper than a sword, with hooks on either side waiting to drag you down to the fires below. But your deeds stand guard with you as you cross. Your dhikr, your charity, your salawat, and more will accompany you in proportion to the importance you gave them in this life.

This particular episode from this series certainly has to be the heaviest on my heart so far. I can't begin to imagine myself, my parents, my loved ones or even anyone from the ummah having to crawl on all four limbs across this terrifying bridge, not knowing whether or not we'll make it safely to the one and only final destination we pray for- Jannah. It almost sounds surreal, like a frightening nightmare, but because it is very much true, it is all the more important to be mindful of this. When the time comes, may Allah Almighty Allow us to cross in a safe & sound manner, ameen.

*JUDGMENT DAY EP 27 NOTES*
• In this life, the straight path is difficult to stay on and that's why we ask Allah to keep us on it, every single time you read through Suratul-Fatiha, at least.
• And when you're walking it here, you have doors with Shayateen calling you to them on each side of you, all the way until you die. And you also have these sins that are like thorny bushes, and you have to hold yourself tight seeking to avoid those sins.
• And the only thing that gets you through, is that you are hearing the call of Allah ahead of you consistently, and you're moving towards it.
• The sirat in this life has the paradise of certainty ahead, Jannatul yaqeen, the paradise of certainty.
• And the hooks of sin and doubt are on its sides. The sirat in the next life has the Paradise ahead, and hooks of punishment are on all sides.
• The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said that the sirat is thinner than a hair and sharper than a sword.
• And Abu Hurairah radiAllahu ta'ala Anhu narrated that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said that "I will be the first to cross the sirat," this bridge over the fire. And he said, "The supplication," the du'a of the rusul, "of the Messengers of that day, and no one is going to be speaking on that day except for the Messengers of Allah, is that all of them will be saying "Allahumma salim, Allahumma salim, Allahumma salim" "O Allah, keep us safe, O Allah, keep us safe, O Allah, keep us safe."
• And so, as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and the Prophets cross the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said that there hooks on the sides.

1. Say this 3 times for 6 hours worth of reward:
سُبْحـانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْـدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْـقِه ، وَرِضـا نَفْسِـه ، وَزِنَـةَ عَـرْشِـه ، وَمِـدادَ كَلِمـاتِـه
Subhan-Allahi Wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zinata ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi
(Glory and praise be to Allah, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, as much as the weight of His Throne, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).”
(Muslim)
2. It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: “The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.”
(An Nasa'i and Ibn Hibban)
3. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet ﷺ (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says,
سُبْحـانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْـدِهِ
‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi‘
(Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea.
(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
4. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:“There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to the Most Merciful:
سُبحَانَ اللّهِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ ،
سُبحَانَ اللّهِ الْعَظِيم
Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi,
Subhana Allahi Al-`Atheem
(Glory and praise be to Allah,
Glorified is Allah, the Most Great.)”
(Al-Bukhari)
5. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: He who repeats after every prayer:
سبحان الله
Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times,
الحمدلله
Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times,
لله اكبر
Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times;
and completes the hundred with:
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ
وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ،
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ،
وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
La ilaha illallah,
wahdahu la sharika lahu,
lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu,
wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir
(There is no true god except Allah.
He is One and He has no partner.
His is the sovereignty and
His is the praise,
And He is Omnipotent)
Will have all his sins pardoned
even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.”
(Muslim)
6. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ(peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says:
أسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ الَّذِي لا إلَهَ إلا هُوَ الحَيُّ القَيُومُ وَأتُوبُ إلَيهِ
‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Atheem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh
(I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield
(while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam).
(Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani)
7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).”
[Ahmad]
8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next.
[Bayhaqi]
9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying):
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
“Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”:
‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.
[Tirmidhi]
10. Allah has promised whoever says:
رضيت بالله ربا وبالاسلام دينا
وبمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم نبيا
“Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya”
‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord,
and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’
three times every morning or evening,
will be pleased on the day of resurrection
[Ahmad]
11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ
Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah,
Then Paradise will say:
“O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!”
And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times
اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّار
Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar,
The Fire will say:
“O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!”
[Tirmidhi]
12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him.
[Hakim]
13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep.
[Ahmad]
14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].”

THE Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) said:
"There are seven whom Allah will shade in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His Shade:
1) A just ruler;
2) A youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic;
3) A man whose heart is attached to the mosques;
4) Two men who love each other for Allah's sake, meeting for that and parting upon that;
5) A man who is called by a woman of beauty and position (for illegal intercourse), but he says: 'I fear Allah'
6) A man who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives in charity;
7) And a man who remembered Allah in private and so his eyes shed tears.'"
If you pass this on, It is Sadaqatul
Jaria. (meaning you keep on getting rewarded for it, every time
someone acts upon it even when
you have died, until the day of
judgment).

I grew up with so much fear surrounding the day of judgement. As a child just the mere mention of it would give me anxiety. But this series is so beautiful it reminds me that ultimately Allah mercy and our hope in him saves us 🥺❤️

2 - whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]

✨ POINTS TO REMEMBER ✨
☀️ Your shield from the fire on that day will be -- Subhanallah , allhumdullilah , la illaha illallah , allhu akbar . They will be your saviors and guardian angels 🤍 they are the everlasting righteous deed.
☀️ Your SADAQA is also your shield on that day.
☀️ One of the way of guarding yourself from the fire touching you on that day is by guarding the Honor of your brother or sister.
☀️ Prophet Muhammad saw told "Whoever walks with his brother or sister regarding the need until he has secured it for them. Allah will make his feet firm on the sirat on the day when the feet will be slipping".
☀️ He mentions another group of similar geeds . He said " trustworthiness and the ties of kinship will be sent and they will stand on either side of the sirat to protect you.
☀️ Rasoolallah saw told " people's deed will become to fail in strength "
on that day you will have a person who are running out of they good deeds and he is crawling and at the edge of sairat you have those hooks and they catch those who Allah swt has commanded to be caught . So their are some who are scratched but will be saved and some will spend time in jahannam until Allah swt frees them .
☀️ Allah swt has guaranteed that those who take up residence and find home in the masjid they will have blessings mercy and safe passage over the sirat until they reach the pleasure of Allah.
☀️ Allah call out Angels and tell them to pull out from the fire all of those who have a trace of a man in their hearts. And they will be known by the trace of Sujood on their forehead. Rasoolallah saw told the fire of jahannam cannot consume the place of sujood. Subhanallah ✨
☀️ Very importantly never lose a good assumption of Allah swt . Expect well from your lord prepare for the day and put your trust in Allah.
Rasoolallah saw told " I saw this man was falling and just as he was about to fall his good assumption of Allah came and settled him on sirat and he was able to cross the sirat. Subhanallah ✨
☀️ And all along rasoolallah (saw) is standing on the other side praying to Allah " oh allah save them"
He told that he saw a man crawling across the sirat at times he was kneeling at time he was just clinging on it then suddenly his salawat on prophet SAW came to him and took him by his hand and stood him up on the sirat until he pass over it. ✨

*The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me, "Shall I tell you the expression that is most loved by Allah?" It is 'Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi' (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)'.*
NOTES OF THIS VIDEO
-sirat is thinner than a hair and sharper than a sowrd, there are hooks on the sides and they have huge thorns
-propohet s.a.w will be the first to cross the sirat
-the supplication (dua) of the messnegers will be " Allahumma salim" "O Allah, keep us safe"
-"SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu Akbar" are the sheilds from fire on that day, they will come on the day of judgment as as guardian angel ,
-your sadaqah is also a sheild on that day
-prpphet s.a.w said :"If anyone guards a believer from a hypocrite Allah will send an angel, and that angel will stretch out and extend and will guard your flesh on the day of judgment from the fire.
-The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said:, "But if anyone attacks his brother or sister, saying something hoping to humiliate him. Then Allah will restrain him over the sirat over Jahannam, until he is acquitted of everything that he said."
-prophet s.a.w said: "Whoever walks with his brother or sister regarding a need until he secures it for them Allah will make his feet firm on the sirat on the day when the feet will be slipping."
-porphet s.a.w said: "Trustworthiness and siratur-Rahm, the ties of kinship, they will be sent. And they will stand at either side of the sirat to the right and to the left. And they're going to protect you,"
-the speed at which peole wil corss the sirat will be in accordance with thier deeds
the first of us will cross like lighting (in the blink of an eye)
some people will cross like wind
some people will fly like birds
some people will cross like fast horses
some people will be crawling on that day
-Prophet s.a.w said: people's deeds will be failing in strength
so you will have the person whos bolding onto whatever he has, as he running iut of his deeds, hes crawling and at the edges of sirat ,the hooks catch those you allah has comandded them to be caught, some of them will be scratched hut the will still be saved, someone of them will be piles up and they will spend sometime in jahanmum until Allah frees them from that punishment
-Masjid is a home of every rightous person
-Those who find home in the masajid will have blessings , mercy and safe passage iver sirat until they reach the pleasure of Allah ,
-allah will call out to the angels and tell them to oull out from the fjre all of thise wjo have a trace of iman in their hearts.. (these people will be knowb by the trace if thier sujood on thier forehead)
-the fire of jahanmam cant consume the place of sujood
-Allah will cast them into the water of life from which they will be completely restored
-prophet s.a.w said
"I saw this man that was falling and just as he was about to fall , his husn Al-Dhan in Allah (good assumption of Allah) came and settled him on the sirat, and he was able to cross in safety
ALL along, Prophet s.a.w is on the other side of the sirat saying "Allahumma salim , Allahumma salim" (O Allah save them O Allah save them)
-prophet s.a.w said
"I saw this man from my ummah, crawling acorss the sirat, at times he was kneeling, at times he is just clinging onto it and then suddenly his salwat on the prophet s.a.w came to him and they took him by the hand and they stood him up on the sirat until he passed over it
Asalam o Alaekum wr wb. Alhamdulilah we are Muslims. We have the time and know what to do achieve a good end.
May Allah Put barakah in our lives and gives us the ultimate peace on the Day of Judgment .

Can you not have the background music in any of your lectures please, it distracts us from paying attention to what is being said which is immensely important. Especially for people with disabilities , who have challenges such as focusing/multitasking, it becomes very difficulty to concentrate. I do not understand the need for that. And now adays it is a trend like shaitann is cripping up our lectures too because we willingly allow it to happen. I hope for a day where any of the islamic lecture will not have these humming and annoying background music in them. Amen. May Allah Protect us from the works of Shayyteen in any form or shape. Amen. Thanks to Yakeen Institute and Omar Suleiman, my journey in embracing Islam has turned into a very beautiful experience. I’m from Turkey and as belng raised in a secular environment, I unfortunately didn’t have any idea as to how much I was wrong about Islam. I thought that being a good person was enough for being accepted to ‘cennet’. Now, I know that was not the case. I deeply thank you for guiding people like me to the right path so that we might have chance to be saved from the ‘cehennem’. Having said that, I would like to request from Omar Suleiman to shoot a detailed video related to and focused on the Sirat Bridge, if possible. I want to be more informed about the toughest phase awaiting us. Thank you so much for your great work and for your efforts.
