I have purchased many cars, new and used. But I have never bought the same production model twice. I missed my Honda Element so much right after I sold it, I knew, one day, I would buy another. Well that day has come! It is not perfect. Needs some work. But, it does NOT NEED A HOME. I think this is the best small compact SUV ever made. I know many agree. This is the 2004 Honda Element AWD EX. Just what the doctor ordered. - Навчання та стиль
I owned 8 element at various times
Glad you were able to get another one. Just bought one last month and I’m loving it.
awesome!
I just recently replaced my suspension on my E too. I am about ready to turn my 07 SC into a camper. I want to do more solo camping. I just bought a cot so I am not having to build anything. Good luck on the build of your new camper!
Cool! Check out my camper channel for my previous builds and new build, of course.

I had a 2005 for about three years (2009-2012) and also regretted selling it ever since. Last month we found a solid 2007 EX AWD AT and bought it. I have been grinning ear to ear ever since!!!
haha, we are in similar situations. I have been fixing mine up. I plan to keep this one for a LONG TIME.
Same here. Had a 2005 Element I bought in 2008. Drove it for 9 years and loved the reliability, simplicity and incredible utility. Sold it because we needed a car that could tow 5,000 lbs. My wife and I have missed our Element ever since. I keep threatening to buy another one just to have it. We have a friend whose brother has a PRISTINE 2012 Element and I have told him if he ever wants to sell it I am first in line. I will own another Element one day!
I was pretty happy to get mine. I figure I will just keep it for a long time. Even engine swaps are relatively cheap.
Neat Element, looks like you got a great starting point! Elements seem like spiritual successors to VW buses - they have a unique culture, are great for camping and utility, and people keep trading them and fixing them up over and over again.
I don't see myself selling this one. Will just keep fixing it. haha
great ,welcome back ....
haha. thanks
What a great car
Whoever designed this car had the Land Rover LR3 in mind !!😆
Wasn't this designed before the LR3?
oh shoot, you're right !!!!@@GearGadgetExperiments
Is that the original front bumper? I just picked up an element also and my front bumper is super faded like that also more than all the other panels. I wonder if that’s a thing?
Yes, they are all faded. Some people use a heat gun to try to refresh it. Others try wiping solutions on them.
Why did they discontinue it?
Not sure. But there have been constant rumors that they will bring it back.
@@GearGadgetExperiments will you buy a brand new one if they make it again? You can trade in the Maverick 😁
Probably something to do with evolving emissions standards, fuel mileage allowance by federal regulation and the end of production of the K series.
4 seater that lost to a majority of buyers at the dealer who walked out with a CRV instead. Nevertheless this has been the best and most versatile vehicle I’ve ever owned . It’s a shame Honda doesn’t see its value anymore. Toyota seems to be exploring some of the original design points in their future offerings so I’m hopeful we’ll get something . Honda as a car manufacturer has become quite conservative and boring . The Ridgeline is about the only vehicle in their lineup that holds my interest
