on counterhit, you can confirm cs dash cancel cs. it is often good for corner carry and for some characters, also the optimal route in many situations. in fact, goldlewis can set up a wall slump by doing: counterhit cs-> dash cancel -> cs -> jh -> slightly delay jd -> land and cs -> brc -> cs -> dash cancel -> cs -> jh jd
what is the benefit of kara canceling drone in the corner of close slash as opposed to just canceling out of cs? I've been doing similar in the corner to what you showed but haven't been kara-ing. Working on the kara timing for the BTs and I get why its big for those but was curious about the drone.
allows you to time strike/throw without having to dash, allows the strike option to sometimes catch the startup of jumps when non-kara is weak to jump (although you can js to guarantee they stay on the ground, but then you lose the throw option)
note: drone got nerfed so the otg kara drone setup is weaker but still good. no longer safe to reversals or

Thanks for explaining the timing. I never understood it before, it felt way too tight. I see now that I was timing the dash way too late
