Rose and Bernard finally reuniting, that alone would have been more than enough. But instead they hit us several times over with emotion. This scene is among the best moments of the series.
i love how the show isnt afraid to do contrasting themes. It is all happy while everyone's uniting and letting you know they're all good. Then it switches to Sayid holding Shannon, not letting you just forget she died. Then to the tension from Jack and Ana-Lucia. Its so perfect.
Anna Lucia is basically trigger happy which lead to accidentally shooting Shannon because she hesitated in the past with that robber. It's easy to dislike Anna because she has such a strong personality. But the thing with Lost is that the show gives you a reason for why every character is the way they are. Everything is so complicated. I love it! LOL!
I always cry when Jin and Sun see each other also you have Rose who never lost faith that Bernard was still alive. Seeing them finally reunite just gets me every time. It even gets to me when Vincent 🐶 is running toward Michael, that was so cute. With that great score it was just a beautiful scene all around.🖤🤍☯
I think those of us that have watched this series get more choked up because we know the future of the story. I feel like my first watch through was less emotional as ive rewatched the series over and over
Well, losing her child is what traumatized Ana Lucia, it's why she always has a focus with children in many of her previous scenes, and it's what triggers her. Promising to the children to take them back to their mother in LA, the incident with the guy with the TV and the baby crying, Goodwin taunting her that the children are better off with the Others, asking Sayid if he has children.
Yeah, I don't think it's just about people who are going to hurt her, but more about seeing the cost of not being on her guard and even letting people have the opportunity to hurt her and others. She has to always defend against it.
no mention of "I was pregnant"? you only think about her getting shot. How about the baby inside of her? Which is why it triggers her so much to hear baby's screaming and why she always pauses when someone asked her if she has children. The guy shot and KILLED the baby inside of her.
Yes...AL being pregnant when she was shot is the most significant part. And, compared to the rest of her group, she seems far more upset that the kids were taken by the others. She had even promised them that she would get them back to their mum. Once we know AL's backstory, it's suddenly so obvious that anything to do with kids has been very emotional for her since we first saw her.
One of my favorite episodes... Something never occurred to me - Eko takes Sawyer to try to get him to the doctor and meanwhile Jack, the doctor, shanks a golf ball into the jungle...and the ball lands EXACTLY in the path where Eko was walking to come and try to find him. Another island coincidence? Or just convenient writing?
So glad you guys are enjoying this show. Lost really is about theorizing and just talking about the mysteries. It's an amazing show and enjoy the journey!
Lost is in this episode's last minutes. We cry about two side character's reunion. The writers planted many seeds about a lot of things, you find out that you care about them like 20 episodes later. And THEN there are all the mysteries and the big plot
Just binged all your Lost reactions. Just wanted to say thanks Lacey and Steve, your reactions are fantastic and you both totally "get" the show, especially Steve for his first-time viewing. Steves prediction about Hurley and the numbers episode was very astute!
Please dont mind me, just from get go, to clear it I like your reactions, but I dont like that Lacey starts with "She wants to do it herself" (killing guy) Lacey watched the show, and no matter how many times someone says "it was long time ago" "she forgot" yeah she probably forgot but her subconscious most likly still helps her with whats going to happen, I would like to keep this simple, Lacey asks qustions for Steve or just lets Steve react....hes the one who didn't watch it, if he gets it, great, and again I still like your reactions, I always look forward for more but just cant ignore that Lacey watched it as I watched I know this show is very memorable.
@@CraigKostelecky It is just hard to ignore it, it doesnt really ruin my experience but it does affect it, I hope she can let Steve do more of talking and she more of helping and questions on post/pre disscussion instead of her taking a lead in reactions, even if she doesn't remember all of, as I said I mostly blame subconscious and when it comes to that noone can say for sure that subconscious didn't act there.
@@CraigKostelecky remember the cop who cought her said that (during the car scene) that she had NO criminal record before that. That's why he asked her why she killed him now. She had done nothing wrong at that point, good grades at school and then blew up her entire future with one criminal act. (literally) then we find out she did it now because she only recently found out that he was her biological father and she hated the idea of him being a part of her.
If was just yesterday you began "LOST" Steve ... and Lacey. 🌴🛫🌄🛬🌴 You started reacting to this series on Sept 15, 2020 so it's been 144 Days | 21 Weeks | 4 Months and 3 Weeks since you began this journey. You've two have watched 33 episodes so far and have 88 more to go Continuing with 2 episodes a week you'll be finishing LOST on Dec 10, 2021
@Gevorg1989 Thanks, I've heard great things about it from friends too. Will get watching it for sure. Looking for a new show anyway after just finishing Mr. Robot! 👍🏻
I completely agree Michael. Her police training taught her that you do not shoot without verifying the nature of a potential threat. She CHOSE to shoot without even seeing who or what she was shooting at. For all she knew, it could have been Cindy, returning to the group. She CHOSE to kill whoever came out of the jungle. Just as she CHOSE to take the law into her own hands and murder the guy that had shot her.
The guy deserved it, and I have no problem with Ana Lucia's choice to do that. But she did let her emotional pain damage herself and lead her to make bad choices that would harm the people around her. She tried to avoid her problems instead of dealing with them in a healthier way, and Shannon died and others suffered because of it. So that's why I am not a big fan of Ana Lucia. Not because some scumbag violent criminal lost his worthless life.
@@bobdonda We'll just disagree on this one on principal. I think Ana Lucia stooped to his level when she executed him. It was murder regardless of who she killed.
@@michaelshafer5192 He tried to kill Ana Lucia and did kill her baby, in an effort to avoid getting punished for her crimes. Ana Lucia killed in an effort to give him a harsher punishment than the legal system would allow... which is actually the same punishment the legal system would have given for most of history up until recently. I don't think a member of a firing squad, or an executioner, is stooping to the level of the murderer that they put to death. They're doing their job and ensuring justice. But Ana was wrong to operate outside of the law and take things into her own hands.
of all the assholes on this show, Ana Lucia is my least favorite. and that includes Walt's mom, Locke's dad, Jack's dad, Penelope's dad, Ben, Kate, Sawyer, Randall, Tom, Artz, Ethan...
I love that Mr Echo crosses the jungle, looking for the doctor & when he finds him, he’s playing golf🤣

The last shot in this episode is one of my favorites in the entire series.
Things get really dark for a while. Then crazy fun. Yes. The music is the best ever for a show
Watching Lacey reacting to Rose and Bernard, brought a lump to my throat
I loved this episode, and the look into Ana Lucia's trauma. Awesome reactions!

No nicknames in this episode from Sawyer.
Sawyer appears without speaking lines.
