Arduino NANO stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding error

Found this missing part causing the error....I believe!
I have made a sketch that tests all the inputs and outputs and have the DS1307 RTC reading date & time. The link is below:

mine was also a stk500_recv() error - ch340 clone with no underboard crystal, setup as Board:Arduino Nano" Processor:"ATMega328P", changing to the below setting made it work
Tools = Processor: ATMega328P (old bootloader)

THX, I found a bad connection at the capacitance on the pbc next the pin 16 of CH340C and now I can upload.
