STORY EXCERPT
The meeting point of the spacetime wreckage is a single building. When Regius gets to solid ground outside of the building, he notices that there are “statues” of people walking around, into, and out of it. Upon closer inspection, it seems that each person is blurred in time, perhaps frozen in multiple moments of time at once.
Inside the building is a tech lab. Regius follows the shards in the void until he reaches a gigantic room with many frozen technicians in it. Some are wearing Oris military uniforms. There are some in Providence militia garb as well. Maybe a joint operation? Hard to confirm if they are legitimate uniforms.
The shards connect at the center of a multi-story-tall device. Many sections look like they would be components in a jump gate, except much, much larger. Regius begins to put the pieces together in his head.

God I've waited so long for this! These original songs have been the best! Makers hand was my most listened to this year and I can tell this will be my 2023 most listened to
Man, this Fight Between Realms series of songs are the fuckin' best. Nothing but bangers thus far, each with their own distinct flavor of argent metal that makes them more memorable and unique. Geoff is proving here that even if you want to take inspiration from Mick Gordon's work on Doom, you don't have to restrict yourself to the same "Doom Slayer fighting demons" vibe, nor do you have to make songs that sound like they could also be on the Doom Eternal soundtrack. A different narrative context can inspire something new and interesting while still having the same core elements that make the genre so goddamn fun.

Man, I loved the other tracks you dropped for this, I legit thought it was from some video game I'd never come across. So what IS Fight Between Realms? A story, a tabletop RPG, or just a world concept you and friends like making cool shit for?
Well thanks that means a lot! It’s just a concept. I’m a composer and without a context I find it harder to write music so I made up a context that lets me experiment naturally with Argent Metal (four different realms with unique styles). Maybe it could be something more in the future! Who knows

First was the Cyberpunk style setting, then Apocalyptic Wasteland, and third was Chtulu Space Warbling and Monsters. I think next we need either Demons (obviously, it's DOOM inspired already XD), or old timey Ancient Goliath sized Monsters and Fantasy. Think games like Skyrim, Genshin, and so on.

its a pretty decent characterisation of a humanoid fighting eldrich beings but id love to hear a version from the view of a multidimensional fight between two of these physics dictating entities, with the soundtrack warbling its way around representation of both individual moves as a too and fro between.
i appreciate that's a here do hundreds of hours of work kind of vibe i just wanted to get the structure of the idea down somewhere, preferably in good hands ya know.
