Now, there is a man with his head on straight. A very talented actor/director, very grounded and very definitely right for the part of Detective Murdoch. Great interview, Thank-you.
Great interview of a great actor - what more could you possibly want? Never missed an episode of Murdoch Mysteries - the only one we see him in in Australia.
"Used to be part of the Commonwealth"? Still is! Perhaps he meant "used to be part of the Empire." But anyhow: yay, Yannick! Thanks for an insightful interview. I have fond memories of "Nothing Too Good For a Cowboy" and he's terrific in "Murdoch Mysteries".
I know this a quite of years of this interview but I do have to say he presents himself a very down to earth as a young man. I could listen to him all day and never get board. I’m sorry to say I never saw Murdoch mysteries but clips that I do see looks really pretty good. For some reason where I live we don’t get that program and see clips on You Tube but at least I get the other series he had played on Sue Thomas FBI (Eye). Maybe one day I might get to see the series of Murder Mysteries. He’s a great actor.
Yannick and his wife exemplify a loving and supportive couple. Thanks to them for sharing their up and down times, celebrations and disagreements and never giving up on one another. They are very unselfish. My thanks to them.
Great interview of a terrific actor, very wise man. I still just wish he would reprise his role as Jack Hudson who would already be married to the character Sue Thomas. Murdoch Mysteries is very well done, but I do wish that Julia Ogden weren't so bent on corrupting William Murdoch the way she already has--and I've seen only the first two seasons. I'm not hopeful about the direction they head in the later seasons.
Yannick is gorgeous. If he were a bit younger, I could see myself marrying him. I'm a huge fan...especially of his part in Sue Thomas F.B.I. I wish I could actually meet him.
i wish he'd said what those "other things" are that he does creatively to feed back to him--i know he does mountain biking and skiing, but speaking about 'creative things,' did he mean painting, sculpting, photography, acoustic guitar or what?
Just re: Kathish's comment... certainly cat-ish.... come on... nice back-handed compliment... not cool. Get over yourself and see the big positive picture.
