Has to be the best episode Till date. Everything about the lineup was perfect. Amazing ball knowledge (especially lyes) and the banter and jokes to go with it. The pogba faisal moment was "nuts" had me dying😂. Probably the best lineup based on ball knowledge. Was extremely fun to watch.

I don't understand how KDB is still so underrated, he shouldn't even be in the same convo as Pogba. KDB has been the best progressive midfielder in the world for years, accumulating two PFA player of the year awards, breaking the prem assist record and winning four league titles, including one with the centurions which should be recognized as the best prem team of all time. Even in ability KDB is so underrated. Comparing Modric's career at Madrid, KDB's at Man City & Pogba's at Juventus and United, KDB has the highest g+a per 90 (.81 KDB v .30 Modric v .48 Pogba), shot creation per 90 (6.7 KDB v 4.19 Modric v 4.31 Pogba), goal creating actions per 90 (.89 KDB v .51 Modric v .61 Pogba), tackles per 90 (1.5 KDB v 1.33 Modric v 1.4 Pogba), and progressive carries per 90 (4.45 KDB v 2.72 Modric v 2.83 Pogba). The only category with a significant difference is KDB's pass completion percentage is lower than the other two, but largely because more of his passes are through balls, crosses & final third balls which the table agreed was KDB's best attribute. These man really don't realize that KDB had/has the best left foot in the premier league as a right footed player. Just because KDB doesn't have the same flair as the other does not mean his ability is not as good and even better. It's crazy how KDB puts on one magical performance after another, single handedly winning city games (especially big games), and his ability is still regarded as worse. I do agree that Modric is clear of KDB right now, but by the end of his career KDB should slide into table one EASILY.

It's really disrespectful towards Jude. As a Dortmund fan I might be a biased but he was our best player the last 2 seasons and that at 18 and 19 years of age. He's already one of the leaders of this team and even in the 2020/21 season he was already really good. You can see that they don't watch much football outside the PL and UCL. All these guys will see when he has his transfer this summer to a big club that he's unbelievable.

Fuad, Lyes, and Faysal's ball knowledge is actually insane when you deep it. It runs deep for about 2 in a half to 3 decades.
I’m actually disappointed with the level of disrespect on Saliba. Konate is a baller don’t get me wrong, but he only started 11 games last season and has a total of 22 appearances in the league. Saliba in his debut season, has already made 27/30 starts for Arsenal. And is part of the team that is challenging for the league. How he has improved our defense in a year is crazy.

Great discussion, honestly for the last debate it just depends on how you perceive it. For me I think of prime and I'd go 1 Zidane 2 Iniesta 3 Modric. I don't think Zidane's prime was short or ineffective enough where we need to downgrade him for a lack of longevity, he was hardly a flash in the pan. I don't think if he did it for 10-15 years I would rate him that much higher tbh, but people may perceive it differently.
I don't rate Zidane/Iniesta higher because of international acheviements. I just think they were better players.

As an arsenal fan the problem with Gabriel is that he’s EXTREMELY one footed with his ball playing. His left foot is elite. This Faysal guy is clueless about football, bro. I'm sick of some of these younger guys talking about football. Zidane being incosistent is the biggest myth in world football. First of all, the guy joined Madrid at 29, anyway. Second of all, his first two seasons were incredible at Real. There's a reason why he won FIFA World Player of the Year in 2003. Wins the Champions League for Real Madrid in the 2001-02 season, then wins them the La Liga title in 2002-03. Go watch all the games from that period and he performed in 90% of them, without any strong midfield around him.

It’s always hypotheticals with Modric. People forget that yes, that Spain team was stacked but at the heartbeat of it and the most influential players on that team were XAVI AND INIESTA. Being part of a stacked team is one thing, but being the most crucial player on that team means that you’re the greatest amongst greats and if Iniesta didn’t win anything with that spain team then he’d be criticized for it. Also, why does Modric only have 3 league titles ? The league table doesn’t lie, you have to consistently be the best to win it. What also shows levels is Xavi and Iniesta’s influence, impact and legacy on world football, they had EVERYONE wanting to be like them and play like them. Modric will never have that impact on world football. Now, I actually love Modric, he’s definitely top 5 of all time but never over Iniesta or Xavi.
