Wow this is such a deep twist to a classical song, you are so talented. I've been playing guitar for 15 years (I'm not as good as you) but I feel any musician would say that you work with passion, congrats for that. When I read the title I though you would play Adagio from Concierto de Aranjuez. If you haven't listened you definitely should, and please make an arrangement! Not the most famous classical song, but an incredibly epic one. The music evocates the fear, rage and sadness that the composer felt after losing a baby in 1939 amid instability due to the Civil War in Spain.

Epic indeed! I came across this song last year and got absolutely hooked on Classical Guitar.... so fun (but very challenging to play), then finding artists like Francisco Tárrega and coming across modern day channels like this =D. So good to see the classical love is alive and evolving.

It's true, when I first heard this piece I wanted to learn how to play it. It opened up a whole new world of guitar playing for me. I don't know how or why but intuitively I knew this was a perfect starting point. When my mate heard me playing it he was hooked too

Some of it fits very beautifully, but some of it is painting legs on a snake. Spanish guitar at its heart is the very spirit of improvisation and the transmutation of the boiling emotion of the soul into sound, but it has to flow. Emotions don't stop and start the way you played that, they shift and change like smoke rising in the wind. What you did: 8/10. The fact that you are trying to do it, and WHAT you are trying to do: 11/10 bro.

Your approach is interesting indeed. Since the piece is so generally known it is really not necessary to play the whole melody - it could however bother certain listeners- and I especially appreciate your complete omission of the shallow major part.
