QUARRY LAKES Bass fishing on the pelican getaway

KAYAK FISHING on QUARRY LAKES with the Pelican Getaway. I went FISHING to the usual spots. I caught a few FISH drop shotting a roboworm. The largemouth bass were all released to catch another day.
QUARRY LAKES is a lake in Fremont, CA. The fishery includes largemouth bass, trout, catfish, carp, and smallmouth bass (Rare). FISHING at QUARRY LAKES is great once you get to know the fishery. QUARRY LAKES include two lakes: Horseshoe Lake and Rainbow Lake. Rainbow lake is not stocked with fish but contains largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and carp.
Lead weights cannot be used and can be exchanged for safer weights from the rangers.
KAYAKs can be launched for $4
FISHING permit is $4
KAYAK inspection $4 (lasts 30 days)
Parking is $5, but yearly memberships can be purchased.
