I found, in another reaction to this video, a comment from Vinny Lc that explains the meaning of this song and his title. I post it here with some (small) additions of mine: Apparently in the documentation of the album Le Secret, which this song concludes, Lara gives an explanation in French of what A-WA means. This is sourced in the Shintoist religion, in texts called kotodama, that could be translated either as "soul words" or "sacred words". One of these is the Onsei-Do (the Way of Sound) and in this one "A-WA" is the Light of the Soul used by the Source (U) to create everything. "A" is the word-soul that gives the "La" of the atomic symphony creating our universe, the "Big Bang" known to scientists. The echo of this original sound was recorded in 2001, resonating throughout the universe 14 billion years later … "WA" is the resonance in the material of this primordial "A". "A-WA" is the dimension of the Unconditional and Indivisible Love which manifests itself as an individual, in order to taste oneself as a multitude. "A-WA" is the Light of the Source, the Love Song of Life itself, the Inner Force which invites every being to find its true nature, the recall of our Divine nature. Maybe some other can comment and add more details but I remember I heard a couple of times that Lara reached some serenity and the force to go trough all challenges she faced through some yoga practicing and some esoteric reading. In the mid of this video, at tea break, Lara discusses with Manu Pitois, then her pianist and musical director/producer. She said to him " you are a genius. this is the best album I ever made, thanks so much !". This song composition is from Janey Clewer and Lara wrote the lyrics. Janey is an accomplished singer-songwriter (as Lara) and she is a friend of Lara since she wrote a song for her called Bambina. They decided to build an entire album together and this gave us this magnificent Le Secret album, 14 songs entirely co-written by both. At the end of the A-WA video here, Lara says to Manu Putois: "this song is gorgeous, what a brilliant idea from Janey to had this melody re-adapted, pure genius, and your arrangement is a masterpiece"
Lara kicked off two days ago her new WW tour, she performed twice in a row in her home city of Montreal. Manu Pitois collaborates with her again and is her musical director for this tour. You should all go and check the Lara The Ring Fabian channel: Gabie posted there her fan footage of the first night and will upload shortly the second night. Believe it or not, Lara seems rejuvemated and sang better than she used to do in the recent years. I was blown away by the first night recording and apparently it was even better yesterday.
Guess you are now and it’s not even close the # 1 fan of Lara . In this video, when the are having coffee, she praises the producer ( you are are a freaking genius ) putting this song together. At the end she absolutely love this song , it’s a masterpiece to her. And for me , it his.
This amazing song is part of an incredible album of hers called Le Secret (The Secret). It's a very intimate album she wrote songs talking about sexual abuse, anorexia and bulimia, (she had both dieases) abortion (she also had an espontaneous one :(. But it has also a positive message about carry your pieces on together and to be resilient. This song is the last of the album she starts the álbum with the sound of a person's heart beating (being born) and ends with this song talking about someone, possibly an old person having inside herself/himself the energy of the universe. "A-Wa" is the power of the universe, then a heart beating comes again, but this time slowing down until fades away. It's has a deep philosophical meaning. She wrote it some of the songs during her trip to India and she said that she got very inspired about the culture of the country. Thank you. I hope you're able to understand my avarage English writing. ^^
As long as I noticed that you are reacting and enjoying some of my recomendations. So, she had two concerts this week in Montreal (Canada), yesterday and before yesterday. I would like you to react to this video, it's a fan vídeo, then don't expect a Professional high quality sound, but we have to be thankful to the person who recorded it. The song is from her second album called "Carpe Diem" that she released in 1994. She still keeps singing her very old ones and remember that she is 52 years already, been aroung singing professionaly since 1985 ( when she was 15). 🤩😉 This song has 3 versions, she wrote and co-wrote all of them ( in French/ English and Portuguese with perfect accent) Lara Fabian live in Montreal 06/14/22. ua-cam.com/video/SAIaZ1iB9aA/v-deo.html
@@Yusuf-tube Hey, there's a better quality ciseo/sound of the performance I recommended above. Please, react to this one, forget about the previous link I've put here. 😆 ua-cam.com/video/idvaePOqWNU/v-deo.html
Asaalamu Alaikum, Yusuf !! This one seemed so sad; I felt really bad for her. One of your viewers (below) left a very good explanation....that made me even sadder. She's been through some tough times..😵🥺. Her voice is really beautiful in this one....take care of yourself...sue 💗💗
The song is not sad, this is instead a message of : « Love yourself first , know your true self» in order to « become a mindful part of the universe » and connect to others. A little bit in the same spirit as « "Choose what you love most (Let it kill you) »
Apart from Lara's phenomenal voice, I feel that the ideas expressed in her songs are important to you. Lara has written an incredible song about a difficult subject that can concern everyone, "L'oubli" : ua-cam.com/video/3ob-a4tPNcg/v-deo.html
Yusuf, I don’t think you already reacted to “Dites-moi pourquoi je l’aime” ua-cam.com/video/-85T-iR7dfc/v-deo.html If you do, be prepared to discover another side of Lara (once again 😀)
Shoukran! I love the way she played with the mic to control her volume and compression.
Hi Yusuf
You are absolutly right about Lara.
Love Lara ❤
Love from Denmark ❤
