My dad LOVED THESE. He was a computer programmer and loved this. He had downloaded every episode on his multiple hardrives. Hearing that squeaky door reminds me of long road trips that he would put his burnt cds on in the car. He died last year way too young at 50 from Covid. I miss him every day. ❤ I turn 30 this year without him.

I also hope you too, Sir Edge, have a restful and relaxing one as well. Thank you for the friendship you have kindly extended to me - I appreciate it very much. I’m celebrating our holiday with a luncheon “ picnic” at home, with a few good friends, with a baked salmon and rice dish served cold, and those Lemon “Brownies” I told you about Sir Edge - a light lemon cake, cut like “brownies”, with a lemon icing topping. Something lovely and cold to drink too, 🥂I think! (We are not allowed by law here to drink any alcoholic beverage outside publicly, so it will be at home). Here on the farm, my bride of 45 years is hosting French Toast, Baked blueberry oatmeal, Fluffy Strawberry Pancakes, and a few side sundries for a late brunch with family and friends as well. So I'll be up-n-early, hard charging, on hands-n-knees, weeding the garden looking forward to a boisterous brunch 'egging' me on.

@@steveharrington2175 A very good and bright cheery Good Morning, my Dear Wisconsin Friend, I must admit I fell asleep last evening - out like a light!, just as I finished the show - which I really enjoyed! I heartily approve of, and happen to love, all of yummy dishes your sweet bride will be making you this day! We are both blessed, friend, as I will admit here, that I am so lucky to be celebrating also with my wonderful husband of these last 40 years. He is one of the reasons I look forward to each and every day, and I never take that for granted! I did all my baking last evening so I could spend a little time sprucing up the inside of the house. My son, 53, and his wife, who live a bit further, will be joining us and I am excited for that! I think the cats even know today is extra special! We are just about an hour SW from Toronto, but now would take about nearly two hours to get there! My husband worked for Via Rail for just over 35 years, as a locomotive engineer, and is grateful to be retired. He is a wood worker and a fine furniture maker. Enjoy your wonderful day today with family, and thank you for the wonderful friendship you have extended me through our enjoyment of the old radio programs we both love ( these were all new to me)! 🥰 Your Canadian friend! ☺

On July Eve, 6/30/23, from N'west WI, where it was an all out assault working the garden today, all day. So much so I was out like a light over an hour ago but Woke up just a few minutes ago so Nightfall could put me back to where I was!....yeah, kinda funny but it's Summer and what's a country boy farm boy gonna do when chores become doors, to far beyond the shores of Dreamland. Thanx good buddy Nightfall, and G'nite all, may the door be with you.

There was no point at which I guessed where this story was going. A bit OTT, but I enjoyed the acting.

The "romance" in this episode is so heavy‐handed and overly melodramatic. It can't decide whether it's a love story or a spy story, and fails at both. Not one of my favorites.
