I never noticed how much recoil Shiv's gun has; every weapon has next to no recoil, then suddenly Shiv's shots start to hit the ceiling by the end of the mag
Funny thing is fire rate affects the spread and recoil quite a bit, since recoil and spread recovery doesn't scale along with the fire rate, so on a hero like wraith with more firerate her spread and recoil gets higher, also vipers spread gets massive if you shoot for longer, her mag isnt enough to really get the spread kick in
Viscous and Yamato's alt fire have no spread to them. They just fly in a slight arc and explode on contact or in Viscous case after traveling a certain distance. Shiv's alt fire was indeed forgotten since we don't play a lot of Shiv.
I just tested this with a lot of items that give ammo and i had about 300 ammo then, but there was still no spread really. The recoil moves up and down a little but that´s about it!
assuming the vertical fire for calico is alt fire? Only played her once and I've rebound right click since I don't play heros with alt fires nor do I need the zoom for anything so I didn't even know she had one, Imagine they give holiday and alt that acts like counter strikes revolver and you just fan the bitch at high speed with ass accuracy.
They can play around with damage per pellet. Maybe it could work for reasons i just replied in another comment: The heroes in this game do move a lot and have a lot of mobility with dashing and everything. This could make you hit moving targets very easily. Maybe it has a reason to stay. If it is garbage they could always change it later on!
Ironically hollidays weapon feels the worst because of the insane recoil haze can just out headshot damage you cause she has almost nocrecoil and stacking damage.

@ but it’s really bad as a shotgun, like I’ll give you an example, the middle pellet is the one that does the most dmg, even at close range if you hit someone with the far pellets on the x it won’t do anything, I’m thinking it’s more for last hitting but if they want it to actually do dmg they gotta change it from a shotgun to something else
@@DedLocko God i hope so, the other thing is they need to make the spiders spawn in a box shape or in a small triangle/cone infront of you and make it so terrain doesnt make them explode, cuz that also makes his ult kinda useless

It´s not the same. Sadly we forgot about Shiv alt fire. It has a few more pellets then the normal shot and the pattern is rather circular.

Oh that's why some champs feel so jank to me. My main has fuck all recoil and when i try champions with recoil i just never adjust out of habit.
It always felt to me that shivs gun behaves a bit weird.. now i know why. Didn´t know it had this much recoil either!

I cannot stress enough how bad the spread on trapper's gun is. It legit does not start dealing damage until you're within like, 15 meters

Sawn-off aren't known for being accurate spreads. Pocket is basically using a modified Pepperbox.

Trappers spread is so bad for a shotgun, compared to the other shotgun heroes like why would I want my gun to fire a wide ass X as a shotgun!?!
