@18:25, that's exactly what I was looking for, thank you, Justin. The paint scheme still doesn't look quite right - at least not to me - but it's definitely an improvement over what we got back with the first diecast RoboCop.

No one shoots videos like you do Justin, other vids I've seen don't do justice to this new Murphy, they even got people complaing about the colors because they don't know to light the figures! You are the best in the biz! Gonna have to order this new Robo now!
Amazing figure. Can't wait to get mine. My only critique is that it's not movie accurate - we're missing Robert John Burke's likeness. I feel like they took a shortcut here and said, "Oh hell, we have mouthplate molds for Peter Weller and we have likeness sign-off, so let's not make the effort of getting Robert's." That said, I will be stashing the box away and this will pass as my Robocop 1, as I don't have any of the previous releases.
Very cool! Can't wait til I get mine! I wish the jetpack came with stand to display it on. I really want to display him as the original part 1 version... but I also want that jetpack displayed on it's own. Might need to design a custom 3D print for that...
I have never felt so conflicted about a Hot Toys set. On the one hand, the figure is stunning, one of Hot Toys very best, on the other, it's essentially what we got 9 years ago, including the now deactivated speaker under the chest plate, but with a paint refresh. When we see Hot Toys making huge leaps with their new Bespin Luke Skywalker, Mark 3, HL Joker, Bane.... Robocop should have been given the same treatment, by that I mean making him taller (Peter Weller was almost 6 foot back in the 80's, and in the Robocop suit approx 6'2) bringing his height in line with the recent Hot Toys figures. More diecast would have been nice, as would a new hand for specifically holding the hand, and how about the rubber in elbows and knees? Is it the same as before or has it been improved to hold up against some classic poses?
this version of Robo has actually a predecessor from 2007 with the jet pack. It's MMS32 - SS6328. Would be fun to see a side by side evolution review of these two :-)
I'd buy that for a Dollar! The Hot Toys Robocop 3 1/6 Scale Figure, looked Totally Excellent! I hated the Robocop 3 film, but loved the Original Robocop movie better. When I heard that the first time, I felt Inspired and Motivated. I know it's sounded kind of Nuts as kid, but I also imagined myself being Robocop too. Very Interesting and Informative. As to the 2-pack, I got the battle damaged only. Didn't it come like that too? Cheers!
Today I received Robocop Battle Damage by Medicom Mafex in 1/12 scale. You should have a look too as it is figure of the year in the scale in my opinion. Love Robocop movie so it was a must figure for me.
Hello Justin, I was wondering if the lower armor parts on the arm on the front and back have a blue tint just like the legs or are they just silver color? Also the checst looks silver with blue and purple around the edges. I have seen the figure in a shop with the plastic on it and the legs do have a blue tint which I am very happy with and I couldnt clearly see it in other youtube video's. Definitely blue but I forgot to check the arms. I am still hesitating to buy the figure. Thank you.

I get that it's not accurate to 3, but as my first Hot Toys Robo, if this had had Burke's face, I wouldn't have bought it, lol 😂
You can see the blue/purple hues in the first movie when you watch it in modern definition. On VHS and 80's/90's television, which many of us grew up with, he looked much more silver due to the lack of color those formats could support. So us older folks' memories aren't technically "accurate," if that makes sense lol
Seeing all of these reviews popping up on UA-cam, I'm wondering when mine is going to ship, as it's been paid for for months from Sideshow... I'm getting excited 😁
Totally fair!
