The part that really touches my heart here is that they have a statue of goku in the arena. Cuz imagine what it was like for the rest of the remaining Z fighters to realize that goku is truly gone after GT. I can imagine that it was hercule who told them to build it as his way of finally telling the world that goku was their savior. And it really shows that hercule really is a good man

Im not shocked at all really. Its constantly shown that atleast in the GT timeline that the only person who really held on to the saiyan heritage was vegeta and to a lesser extent goku. Gohan used his anger and ordered his dad to fire an energy blast at him to push him even further to transforming. Goten first turned Super Saiyan after being nearly pushed to his limits by Chichi during his training with her. The only person who's first transformation was never revealed was Kid Trunks, who was believed to have transformed some time before, off screen. Pan and Bulla however, were never pushed that far. Pan never suffered from training as intense to her as it was for Gohan or Goten. And the majority of her life before being reunited with her grandfather was very peaceful and calm. The closest she was to being pushed to her limits was during the fight between Great Ape Baby Vegeta and Super Saiyan 4 Goku, but she just wasn't pushed too far for her to snap. And Bulla....Well, what more do I need to say? She never trained, she wasn't a fighter.....And the most traumatic experience she could've had was breaking a nail. So for Pan and Bulla, it was very possible for them to be Super Saiyans, but they were never forced to their limits. Goku Jr., on the other hand, obviously was, as seen in "A Hero's legacy", where he came up against obstacle after obstacle, up to the point where a giant monster beat up and proudly threatened to devour the mother of a bear cub right in front of him and he couldn't stand by and watch it happen. At that point, his anger reached a breaking point and he snapped, going into his Super Saiyan transformation. Not sure how Vegeta Jr. managed to go Super, but judging by his presumed lifestyle, he most likely trained to the point where he pushed his own body beyond it's limits and triggered the change that way. So, in terms of legitimacy, GT was probably pretty spot-on with the requirements to becoming a Super Saiyan.

Toriyama couldn't draw female Super Saiyans because he said he made them look too bulky and muscular. But I think Toriyama could do a much better job than Toei and Toyotaro did, when they gave Cabba and Caulifla noodle limbs and made Kale become roided up female Broly.
