Icon of a watch i had both skx009j and skx007j in my early diving career in the late 90S and for me were easier for work use than the monster as far as time accuracy i have just bought both versions new again for the `protected collection` to pass onto my son
That looks far better on the NATO strap than jubilee bracelet and is a very smart.looking watch. I still need to get one of those phenom straps for my Sub. Maybe you should do a feature video with them, include a link and get some sort some commission? I’ll hold off buying for now just in case. Cheers and have a good day.
@@itscomplicatedwatches your's is the only video I've seen that has mentioned any difference. Mark at long island watch has seen a lot of them and he doesn't think there is. There does seem to be lots of variation between SKX to SKX quality control but not so much between K and J. Unless you had a really old production of the K. But to each their own. I MOD my SKX anyways.
Yes I agree with everything you pointed out. The J version is a must have !!!!
Great video as always. These could be a wonderful gift for someone starting their watch journey or just over all. Keep these coming !

J version (with rubber strap) can be found for $329 at Island Watch. Adding a Seiko jubilee is $33.00 on Amazon. (This is not a paid endorsement.)
Nice review I have one and glad I got the J

Cool review 👍
Nice video. I have the same crown issue with my save the ocean turtle.
Unless one of these is a fake there's no real difference between the "made in Japan vs the Malaysian version".
You're wrong there, sir. There's a big difference between the made in Japan and the other version.

@@Nicholas-V no I've seen other channels point out the differences before so sticking with Chris on this.
