Hi Grandma Glenda :) This scarf is so pretty! Anybody, even those with the most minimal crochet skills would be able to complete this scarf with your instruction, and that's so awesome! This new yarn looks so nice!!! Your scarf turned out beautiful
Very nice pattern. I had to work out the pattern with regular yarn because the mandala is so soft. But I’m getting it. It was great being able to follow along especially with trying to maintain the stitch count. You had some excellent tips that really helped me. Thank. You!,

Florence Kalma , I have found it at A.C. Moore and JoAnn's.

It looks beautiful. I bought 2 of these on sale in Walmart and I was wondering what to make with it since it is thin. So I am making a shawl then I will try to make this scarf. Thank you.
Love It!!!!!!!😍💖😍💖😍💖
Love it. Thank you.
Beautiful
So pretty 😍
I mostly knit these types of scarves but the crocheted version is very attractive.
Really lovely. Thank
Wonderful!
i cant wait to order this yarn ..... i am in the Bahamas .. its note sold here .
Awesome like always :)
AWESOME!!!
I consider myself an intermediate crocheter having mastered the crocodile stitch and fpdc, bpdc, etc. but for the life of me I cant get this to work out. I left it for now but I will be returning because the stitch is lovely and it's going to bug the heck out of me until I can I understand where I go wrong. My ends don't look good and I don't always end up with the 3 stitches on the end to finish. I have an end that always looks very loose and rounded. Maybe from how I hold it? You're a wonderful teacher and I won't give up. Thanks for this video! If you have any idea where I'm going wrong I'd appreciate any tips or advice. Thanks again!
Erg gechikt om van het mandala garen te maken. Leuk hoor
Thank you 🌹🙏🏻
the picture is perfect.
Hermosa!!!!
I am so happy I just bought some skeins of Mandala yarn!!! Lion Brand is currently out of stock until Jan 2018 due to the overwhelming response to the yarn! I think it's still available in most stores, but who knows for how long?
Frances Martinez ....that's where I just ordered them from lol, but thanks for the heads up.
Jill Miller You can also get Mandela Yarns at JoAnn's and A.C.Moore, too. Happy creating!!
This is beautiful yarn because I love bright colors too.
I absolutely love this stitch. Do you have a shawl pattern I could folliw? I would like to try it with a soft, lighter acrylic yarn. Please let me know if this stitch would work well with that type if yarn.
Karen this is made using a (3) light weight yarn so yes, it should work perfect with a light yarn
Thank you, i waited for your project and so glad I did.
This would make a great wrap if starting chain is made wider and do not connect the ends. Think that would turn out with your stitch pattern?
Thanks
Frances Martinez....Great idea!!!
Frances yes that is a great idea a wrap would be wonderful.
Yes! I was thinking the same thing~ Would be so so pretty, I prefer wearing a wider wrap and I think I would do it wider too!

Hi Glenda thank you for your wonderful channel I love your tutorials. I was watching one yesterday and started a scarf pattern which consisted of a row of double crochets. The next row Was skip one double and do a front post treble in the next double, go back into the skipped double and do a front post treble in that one then double crochet in the next stitch and repeat across. row three was doing two back post treble crochets and then a double across the row. I cannot find your tutorial could you please direct me to find it I’m trying to finish the scarf and I need your tutorial.
Muy bonita ojalá lo transmitan en Español gracias por compartir

I love it ty GRANDMA
How can I get a written copy of this beautiful pattern? I did email you. Thank you for sharing!
How many rows of each color did you do? I want to make one in the same length. :D
I like the stitch.
Can this stitch be done for a blanket?
Lily, yes this is a wonderful stitch for nice lacy afghan
lily Barr that's what I was thinking lol
Hello. do u have a pattern for a slouchy beanie in that stitch. I've only just started crocheting but I love that stitch hope u can help me.
Gillian I do not have a pattern for a slouchy beanie at present time. Most all my patterns are copyrighted and owned by the yarn companies so I am just now starting to design for the public so it is going to take me a while to build up my public based patterns. I am making them as fast as I can, your idea is on my future to do list. Thanks for stopping by my channel
Could you make this in crochet thread like a size 5 or 10?
you can but you will need to jump the starting chain up as well, this stitch pattern also makes a very nice table runner or place mats.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but no matter how many times I tear this out, re-watch the video and count every stitch...several times... I still don't come up with 8 of those double crochet cross stitches. I'm an intermediate crocheter, so you can imagine my frustration. Has anyone else having the same problem? Creative Gramma: any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks!

This yarn has how many gms in each bundle
If a shawl pattern is not available, I would like to know how to make it going lengthwise? Is there a pattern or tutorial available?
Karen, I list the multiple of the stitch pattern so you can increase your starting chain to the length desired and then just work to the width desired.
