It works, use the setup at 11 min for seeing the moon with the 3x extension and the 20mm lense. Use the zoom lens adjuster from fully tighten and turn out until the moon becomes more focused. The image will appear larger and blurry, but will get smaller and more focused as you loosen on the zoom. I just got it and tried it out. The moon is very clear and the craters are very sharp. The smaller the ?mm lense, the more focus on distant objects you get, yet harder to aim.

8:54: I have just realised duhhhhh. Where you put the scope in the support frame determines the sensitivity of the screw adjustments. I would start of in the middle and adjust over time with experience. As you have them at the moment they are at lowest sensitivity, best for thick thumbs. At the other end the adjustments just fly off the screen. So start in the middle and figure what works best. This is true for 'All' spotter scopes on any telescope from any manufacturer. It only took me 50 years to figure that one out :-) A funny aside: I was getting confused how you were turning the screws it didn't figure ... then I noticed the writing on the box was reversed :-) Your video reverses left from right hahahah :-) Cool!
Thanks soooo much for this video...i bought this telescope for £10 off temu and had no idea what to do with the eyepieces was almost going to give up and class it as a cheap knock off...BUT!! YOU HELPED ME SOO MUCH! Now i can view the night sky with my £10 bargain!! Well once ive practiced it...quick q what is the white small scope for exactly?
The white small scope is a Finder Scope. It has a wider view than the main scope and is used to find the general area in the sky you want to observe. Once you're in the right area, you swap to the main scope for more detailed viewing. The Finder Scope slides into the piece on top of the main scope.

Hey Thank you for creating this helpful video. By any chance do you know what we do with the moon filter piece that comes with this telescope? Thank you
@@joeceonnia1954 Hey. Absolutely well said. Something told me it was an optional add-on piece with no real difference making capabilities. Thank you for breaking it down. Safe travels and maybe I will see you on the moon one day. You never know.
It isn't useless. The moon filter is best used when observing a full moon. A full moon is very bright, the filter helps protect your eyes from the brightness and helps make landmarks visible that would normally be drowned out by the brightness.
Super upload, tell me at 5m 33s my lens piece goes in at a different angle. Anyone else have this issue? Also my handle for tilting the telescope tube is a small black plastic one and not the long metal bar with the plastic handle.
Hi, today I got the same telescope, I gethered all together, I didn't use any barlow or erecting tube, I tried the main telescope only and I think I saw Jupiter, I was very happy for that, but than I tried with barlows and tubes, but nothing could see... Will you help me,what I did wrong??🤦🏻♀️🙄🥺🥺🥺
It’s much harder to aim when you are using the barlow, it’s like using a magnifying glass on a newspaper you need to be more precise on your movements, i had trouble seeing distant planets because the tripod quality is not so good but now im using another one i had in my house and It’s much easier, so try getting a better tripod :) have a nice one
He hovers over the zoon knob at 4:16. It's best to just have the 20mm lens to aim at the moon and focus. Start with the zoom knob closed and work the knob out to expand the telescope. The image moon with go from large and blurry to focused. There's plenty of detail. Then remove the angle lense section with the 20mm and insert the 3x tube/lense as shown later in the video. Close/tighten zoom and work out again till moon if focused. The moon. Will be a larger image with nice detail. Haven't tried a planet yet. The smaller the mm lense, the more magnification, but try with a 20mm to start.

Word of advice, next time you upload an instructional video don’t have music playing over it. It would be nice to be able to hear the instructions.

It’s useless, it screws on the other side of the ( L clamp ) opposite the ?mm lens, it turns everything green, big whoop!!

You screw it into the bottom of the lens that u add to the barlow or triangular piece
