    The fact that this went on for almost 15 years is absolutely insane

    How this slipped under the radar for so many years boggles the mind

    We are so busy regulating that we cannot see the wood for the trees.

    Please do a programme as to what happened to Johan Steinberg? A South African
    Took South Africans and public for billions the last we heard he was in Brazil…. Cops arrested him …and suddenly went quiet.

    Do we have a deficiency in competent auditors in South Africa. Perhaps the auditor general should be brought in to audit some of these investment funds.

    What happened to Martin Levick Fromm Genesis Capital? He also made billions disappear

    Why are we not talking about Global and Local Investments - the ones who were punting for investors to invest in BHI and sending investors proposals on the BHI Trust

    Some of my clients lost money in this instead of taking my advice... somehow people have the inclination to go after "better" deals than are regulated in the market...

    Who the hell is Craig Warriner? How can we become aware of these rogues?

      The Craig was a very generous guy. He used to walk into our establishment and give everyone money. I mean he tipped all waiters on duty and every staff at the back of the house. He gave out over R200 to everyone on duty. We miss him

    Help please: with Easy Equities what would happen if Easy Equities itself went under or the share holders decided to pull everything out?

      The shares should be held in client account, as David said “segregated from company’s money”

    Hi Alex
    you do interviews with all theses so high profile people who knows so much about public's and study it ,why haven't they done anything about it or are they also going through life with blind folders on and do they support the corruption of the ANC instead of helping the opposition party, this comment is headed at Mr. Johnson

      I feel for her but how does one invest in a market that is not regulated? That is a huge risk and 90% of the time ends up as a ponzi scheme or scam etc. If anything sounds too good to be true, then it usually is.

      Shame! What else do you need at 68 to risk your life savings just like that?!

    To get unbelievable rich, U've got to bent in some way...U certainly don't get rich by working a 9 to 5 job. And least of all, working for yourself will make a difference, but there are very few honest people left in the World. Leave alone being rich, which is another ballgame....Hah.

    Why do you have to tag St Stithians along Craig Warriner's mess? I notice you deliberately didn't mention his parents or his family! It's so silly and wrong of you!!!

    • @wiehanndevilliers3896
      @wiehanndevilliers3896 Рік тому +2

      St Stithian's are beneficiaries of donations made by Warriner (Very possible that it was investor funds) its available on their site with no effort in really searching it.

    • @natashagoring7692
      @natashagoring7692 Рік тому +2

      Unfortunately, St Stithians has his name all over their social media profile due to his generous donations to the school. They even have an exercise centre named after him.
      St Stithians was the first thing that popped up on the Google search when I searched under this man's name.
      As a result, they will be associated with him, regardless of who says it publically.

    • @glentweedie602
      @glentweedie602 Рік тому

      Okay, without mentioning St. Stiths 😂
      Kids that attend high-end secondary education setups tend to rub shoulders with other "rich" kids as well as diplomats kids from other countries, and the odd sporting scholarship. Friendships are formed which bear fruit (or has your tree shaken) later in life.
      And with donations to the school!!!! All the "Old Boy" club are going to support him.
      There is going to be a fair migration of kids to less expensive schools in the near future I think.
      Something like this goes all the way down to "can we afford to get the garden boy in for a day?" "The car uses too much fuel for my daily budget"
      And that's where the real damage starts showing.

      Is it relevant? Crime is crime no matter the race. There is crime in government, crime at Steinhoff. It's the character and not the race. It's greed. All races essentially have bad apples.
