The icebreakers usually get friendzoned very easily so it would take some time for the girls to notice Ah Xing. Xiao long and Yang match eachother very well so they will likely try to extend their interactions and get to know eachother better.
yeah never be too friendly in the beginning otherwise they get too comfortable with you and you lose the tension in the beginning of any relationships. people confuse comfort & ease so they automatically designate you as a friend rather than a potential love interest. I notice this with all the reality show dating shows.
i think she is just pointing out that it should not only be designated as a woman's job or automatically assumed work for women. that a woman can decide to bring money home through her work rather than only provide or be the main person who does the house work/raising kids.
