Sega is out of touch with what the fans want. It took them forever to get Yakuza on the newer consoles and now it has been really successful. They could do the same for JSRF
@@NeoNovastar played it for the first time back in may. your not wrong, the jamming music and free flow movement mechanics allowed the game to stay fresh as hell, and it played to the Xbox's Strengths graphically, and has ensured that its graphics aged quite well.
I remember when they made a mobile version, and it was great. Of course, it never got updated and stopped working years ago. But look at the Infinity Blade games that got removed despite having been extremely profitable, good mobile games not being supported seems to be a sadly common theme these days.
Me. Found it in recommendation. Funny to find a good chunk of songs UA-camrs use. Still coming back to both game st more than a year later. I was born in the late 90s so not quite the young generation. Didn’t really know what the game was even after hearing the soundtrack. Only went off the picture and vibes.
Well, I mean, I played the og jet set radio. I own it on Steam, but I might not ever play jsrf cause I don't know how to emulate Xbox games but it's still on my list of games to play
I'm 18, JSRF is older than me by two years, but played it when I was 11 having randomly seen gameplay on it on UA-cam. Quite literally changed my life and defined the standard to which I judge all other videogames by. Greatest VGM soundtrack of all time arguably, and unparalleled in style and aesthetic even 21 years later
I played this not long ago, about 4 months ago and I already enjoyed this. It's a masterpiece, I want to say that BRC ended up as a good spiritual predecessor of this game. Just perfect masterpieces
I always start this from the beginning, but rarely get through the half way point before getting distracted and looking up different music that comes to mind suddenly lol
Mr Slinky bruh this game brings back so many memories especially when this was like the pinnacle of my xbox childhood beginnings lowkey was about to cry. This new generation missing out on a overall amazing game.
Dude I don’t remember much of the gameplay of this. But the soundtrack legit has never left me. This is the only form of media I can honestly say that about.
I got the 1st Xbox for Christmas and it was when this and Sega GT came with it. I thought it was lame….15 years later I’m still playing Jet Set Radio on that same Xbox!! lol 😂 The best !!!
Oh man, major nostalgia. I remember being mesmerized by the music in this game as a kid, it was the first time I heard anything like it. Oldies but Happies was one of my favorites I'm pretty sure :D
Born in 2000 and listening to this in 2024. Original soundtracks from games like these are and forever will be elite class. Games nowadays are all about online gameplay with only a little mix of single player games. I hope culture comes back to being hip again some year. ❤
I wouldn't go outta my way to hunt for music like this without Jet Set memories. It's inked into my brain from the perfect cultural soup that game created, now I dig and need this in my life from time to time. Perfection in high energy edm

This takes me back to my senior year of high school. My brother was a freshman the same year I was a senior in high school and he started playing Jet Set Radio Future for the X Box almost 22 years ago along with other games. I never thought it would be possible to have all of the music from the game as a music album until now. Even better this one without the interruption of a CD switching tracks.
For some reason, this suddenly popped up in my recommended videos while I was listening to an Enter Shikari song. I decided, "why the fuck not?" It's been a little bit since I listened to this, played the game about a year ago for the umpteenth time, and I'm once again reminded of how many older games have been remastered; how angry it makes me still that they won't remaster this. JSRF was a huuuuge part of my childhood arsenal of Xbox games. I'd jump between it, Blinx The Time Sweeper, and the first two Halo games. The soundtrack always fascinated me because of how eclectic it is too.
I don't believe any game has brought me as much happiness as this one, i remember being a little boy on my xbox playing this and just jamming. "Understand the concept of love." 😪
Imagine playing this game on xbox AND IT HAD OPENWORLD COOP. Unless my memory is hazy having two people not having to be in the same area and playing tag WHAT A RUSH
When I played this game for the first time, I was a kid. I remember this game took over so much for me that my parent's basement flooded, and I swear on my life the water was 4 feet deep, and sat on my dad's work out bench in the flood to play this game. My parent's don't let me forget that one lmao

Xbox 360's also play this game
Guys are you hype? BOMB RUSH CYBERFUNK is coming! This is about as close as we'll get to a sequel without Sega issuing an outright copyright strike. My excitement levels are off the chart.
This is one of the best video games of all time.
💯
Going from 80's Synthwave retrofuture music to this is like having a back2back 80's and 90's style clash.
I just finished collage and these songs have basicly been everything I've listened to for the past 2 years so wherever I hear these I just think if good times
UNDASTAND UNDASTAND! UNDASTAND UNDASTAND! UNDASTAND UNDASTAND THE CONCEPT OF LOVE!
It's 2021 and we still want a jsrf remaster
Its 2022 and what your getting is a battle royal reboot.
@@85set05 lethal league blaze is a decent successor but we need a true remake by the og team
@@greenonmyface774 I meant there is a battle royal Jet Set Radio game in the early stages of development right now.
@@85set05 better than nothing i guess
It's 2024 and this shit still hits 🙌
42:25 - 20 years later and this is still my shit.
Funnily enough I came back here to play this soundtrack during my Hi-Fi Rush game play and honestly it fits the game so seamlessly
This is just so great. The artistry is just on another level completely. I just love it so much.
I logged so many hours in this game. Unlocking everything was a blast.
Sega is out of touch with what the fans want. It took them forever to get Yakuza on the newer consoles and now it has been really successful. They could do the same for JSRF
True
I wish, so bad man. This shit popped off. Its still a gorgeous and amazing game
But look at the Infinity Blade games that got removed despite having been extremely profitable, good mobile games not being supported seems to be a sadly common theme these days.
honestly, even my nostalgia putted away, just in a artistic point of view, JSR still have a really good godamn artistic direction
I would be interested if any of the younger Gen here who didn’t originally play this also find this music as awesome as us OG players?
Just perfect masterpieces
the testicle is an egg... and im extremely careful not to crack the shell... someone else heard that?!
I heard it too
I listen to this all the time thats why its so great. No need to "complicate its all illusion"
"I don't give a flying fuck of it all" 17:14 rated T lol.
Lmao, I came to the comments after hearing it while taking come online classes
@@samuelhaidar2580 They added the original track to this playlist. The version used in the game had that part taken out for the T rating I suppose
i remember the first time i listened to birthday cake i threw my headphones off. ;_;
WESvs i just did that I kid you not I dropped my ear buds in the dishwater😂😂
Now we all love it...
You can’t leave a dent in this dam soundtrack or game. My favorite of all time, one of the only games I’ve %100
Dude I don’t remember much of the gameplay of this. But the soundtrack legit has never left me. This is the only form of media I can honestly say that about.
Holy crap man, this unlocks deep childhood memories that I’ve forgotten about.
For real!! Surprisingly my son spawn this nostalgic memory to my attention. He found a video containing one of JSR songs
I got the 1st Xbox for Christmas and it was when this and Sega GT came with it. I thought it was lame….15 years later I’m still playing Jet Set Radio on that same Xbox!! lol 😂 The best !!!
My fist Xbox game... The memories...
One of the best games ever.sound track underrated and slept on .
HIGH AND A WINNER, PAY THE FRONTLINE, TAKE THE DONT'S!
Oh man, major nostalgia. I remember being mesmerized by the music in this game as a kid, it was the first time I heard anything like it. Oldies but Happies was one of my favorites I'm pretty sure :D
god i love this soundtrack
Born in 2000 and listening to this in 2024. Original soundtracks from games like these are and forever will be elite class. Games nowadays are all about online gameplay with only a little mix of single player games. I hope culture comes back to being hip again some year. ❤
This soundtrack gives me so much nostalgia
New appreciation for Koto Stomp after listening with headphones. Latch Bros.
I wouldn't go outta my way to hunt for music like this without Jet Set memories. It's inked into my brain from the perfect cultural soup that game created, now I dig and need this in my life from time to time. Perfection in high energy edm
only artist i've found that can match this tempo is Takkyu Ishino - guy knows his techno!

***** 100 percenting the game.... now thats the tricky part! (took me more hours than i would like to admit) but you unlock yoyos dog lol
***** me neither, got stuck on final boss...:(
You mean you never saved yo-yo?
gaypay11 Had to defeat Gouji, he was sooo hard to beat , they need to make a Jet Set game for xbox 1 !!!
damn every song is a real banger, i wish i understood english better back when i played it on release lol
Yo it’s 2022 and this soundtrack aged like a fine fucking wine.
SEGA needs to remaster this game asap ill buy in a heartbeat. Brings back childhood memories
Hi guys, school and work have been bogging me down. I'm going to try to get that video out this Sunday or Monday announcing the winners. The 3 people I messaged did not respond so if they don't respond by then I'll post my subscriber Email to contact.
By contacting my Email, you agree to the terms of UA-cam policy and ToS. You also agree to be put on the email list for future giveaways. (I'm required to state that apparently even though I have no reason to email anyone outside this giveaway)
I still jam out to Birthday Cake and Aisle 10
lol I remember playing this game before I could read and just making up the whole game in my head with the players conversations. Wow love this game and it's soundtrack
Jet set has one of the best game soundtracks I’ve ever heard. Also I love this gammeee is the w only game I enjoy playing alone, 🥚
I have a playlist of all this music on iTunes when I’m sick of my normal music 😂
Most underrated game ever. Impeccable soundtrack
Praying Bombrush Cyberfunk can bring back an ounce of the magic this game has
New game is called bomb rush cyber punk Aug 18🔥🔥is when it comes out
This is the shit when ur high
Edit: this song track was fire
I don't think I was prepared for Birthday Cake. I wasn't expecting it
Lol I noticed the song in rakaku Dai heights in my first run through of the game. I paused the game and was just like wtf did I just hear XD
+Mr Slinky (Brandon) I don't even have either of the Jet Set Radio games, I have the demo of the first one, but not the whole thing. I'm actually kinda scared of playing the second one if I ever get to
+MKHCFIRE oh man it is worth it. one of the best games ever made hands down. I still prefer it to most if not all 360 and xbox one games
+Mr Slinky (Brandon) Its added to the list, I do still need to play the first one though. I find the original jet set radio to be at least slightly more funky than future. Funky Dealer is an exception
The first time I listened to it I didn't really know what to make of it but honestly it started growing on me and now i think its a pretty good song
Happy holidays!! JSRF from 2022!
Ow, right in the childhood 😊

This takes me back to my senior year of high school. My brother was a freshman the same year I was a senior in high school and he started playing Jet Set Radio Future for the X Box almost 22 years ago along with other games. I never thought it would be possible to have all of the music from the game as a music album until now. Even better this one without the interruption of a CD switching tracks.
2024 and we still dont know the concept of love
Yessss. Humming the Baseline Baby!!!! Yes!!!
Mar Zea so glad they brought it back
This soundtrack is soooooooooo good
For some reason, this suddenly popped up in my recommended videos while I was listening to an Enter Shikari song.
Every song only gets better with time, this game was freakin awesome and just playing along with all the music was AMSR at it's finest.
I love that there's a place to find this ost 💕 thank you for uploading one of my favorite video game soundtracks ever!
Time to record the heck out of this soundtrack with my OLYMPUS DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER WS-853.
I used to play the game when I was 6 on my XBOX, now I downloaded a XBOX emulator on my PC and every time I play I feel goosebumps ;')
Probably one of the best and diverse soundtracks of any video game. Still play and still love this game on my Dreamcast!...Sweet soul brother
