Absolutely love these videos. Shame about the bugs the game still has, I'd personally count this as a win anyway. This is probably the only map with a category of "required" dinos and I personally wouldn't have batted an eye if you'd gotten a light pet since all it does is the light, but I'd still suggest in the future if there's a map that basically requires a dino you can make an exception if that dino is only used insofar as you have to.
@@Rampy if it was on any other map, this wouldn't be too much of a challenge considering ravagers are dire-lacaleo-raptors. You get the pack bonus of raptors. The short-ness of direwolves. And the bleed and mobility of a thyla.
Not even gonna lie, the fact that you didn’t stop and use any light plants while running through the blue/red zone genuinely upset me as an abb main. Then the full on running through everywhere without checking for spores and mushrooms as well 😭😭

As someone who mained abb for 5 years, I’ve got mad respect for this run. It would have basically been impossible without whatever it is that highlights all the enemies like a blood stalker. Legend
@@TheApawcalypseCats After playing with that mod for years, I am doing a run through without it and having a lot more fun. The game is just too easy with that mod. Half of the fun of Ark is searching for and hunting down dinos, and things taking you by surprise, especially at night. The awesome spyglass takes all of that away.
@@KurNorock Personally I wish there was a version that let you see the stat numbers, but didn't have that outline or an easy pop-up. Not having any way to see the raw numbers on dino stats is the single biggest issue with vanilla ark, or a way to identify what the base stats were when using a leveled dino.
@@sensha5470 You can actually turn the outlines off with that mod. Almost everything about it is configurable. Even down to the color and style of the on screen crosshair.
I actually agree, like maybe 100 days gen 1 w/ tek dinos only. Highly doable, especially considering the lunar biome is full of them once you can journey there without dying
Just saying, you don’t always have to use a hazmat suit unless your in the red zone, and you can get sucked by a lamprey to get light and haz protection. Climbing picks and glider suits are also very helpful things to use when getting around.
I can’t imagine making content like this as a normal guy. 100 days content is truly the hardest type to make and I have mad respect for anyone who makes it.
Every video I watch of yours starts off with that feeling in your Chest and throat when i hear that KINO track hit just reminiscing on the times that sound was the start of more endless hours of fun and screaming and raging… that is gone. I’ll never get those times back.

Dinos jumping out of solid walls and stunlocking you to death, followed by crashes that still haven't been resolved 5 years after release. Ark has certainly one of the game designs of all times. On a scale from 1 to 10 it's certainly game design.

Anyone else hate when UA-camrs forget their just as capable of fighting as their tames. Like yeah against bosses it makes sense since that would practically be a suicide mission but like jellyfish aren't hard to kill even primitive crossbow on takes a few shots
Aberration is by no means the hardest map: the island, extinction, genesis 1 and 2 and Fjordur are ALL much harder The absolute hardest is gen 1 bc it is literally impossible solo, it hast the hardest boss, no flyers and x creatures that are stronger when wild and make everything harder
Most of the problems you faced early on, could have been avoided if more points had focused on Movement Speed and Health. I would suggest that you try to grind on the best Dino you can get by Day 10. So next time! Edit - Forgot to Appreciate the Effort you took to make the video!
This was...something? I think? Still an amazing video and can't wait to see Extinction with who knows what creature, I'm guessing Enforcers; maybe mana's or snow owls? As for genesis, I fully believe you're going to use bloodstalkers!

I have a few suggestions for future episodes! Beating Ark: Scorched Earth with only Velonasaurs. Beating Ark: Lost Island with only Dinopithecus, and Beating Ark: Valguero with only Deinonychus! I'm sure these have already been suggested, but would love to see all of these!

This was awesome and painful at the same time, you lost a lot of time spent on breeding and mutations to at the end just get one shot, i recommend doing ark 100 days with just Terror Birds, they are both good travel mounts and damage dealers, but no one uses them on boss fights...
Sorry, but hearing someone say "this wasn't a breedable one" pisses me off because the sooner you start the better. Waiting 20-40 days for that "perfect" one is outright absurd. You can start the breeding process faster, and have more than enough on standby for any potential set backs while you search for the perfect one, waiting until one very RNG moment makes this almost unwatchable because it's so pretentious and snobby sounding. You could easily take two low level mounts, work them up to having absolute bombs for stats that are desired and breed them that way and it could be done in the same amount of time as looking randomly for some chance spawning.
I recommend for your other maps. Valguero-Deinonychus. Extinction-Enforcers. Ragnarok-Thylacoleos. Gen- Basilisk (I think it would be your best bet, the base 5 creatures of Gen are not going to work well enough)

It's a mod called "The Awesome Spyglass" and it's definitely a mod that should been a feature. I can't play with out it anymore
