Trying on two pairs of Balenciaga Race Runners from the Spring 2017 collection in black and white. Which one do you like better?
These retail for $695 USD. If you are considering these, consider a size bigger due to the narrow toe area (box).

White ones! Although the stains from jeans are unavoidable, unless you wear rolled up jeans.

The thing about white sneakers is they get dirty very quickly unfortunately so

One thing I noticed with the race runner and the speed trainer is it’s not stiched rather its been glued. My gucci ace, givenchy george v socks sneakers, alexander mcqueen oversize sneakers are all stiched. Im pertaining to the shoe and sole being stiched together rather than glued

Great video and I got the white and love the also got the matching white sox at £75.00 UK pounds I had to go smaller I am a 9 UK 9 in all shoes in LV I am a 8.5. I had to get a Uk size 8 in these sneakers and the fit is perfect also my friend had the same very confusing I guess the US and the UK or European market has different measurements anyway always best to try them on in store before purchasing them great video stunning sneakers absolutely classic design
Yeah, I wish shoe sizing was more standardized because a lot of people who ask me on here don't have a chance to try them on in person first

Hi Phil,I have the original black ones from a couple of years ago with red midsole and cracked black leather heel cup. Always get comments and are very comfortable. I went TTS with mine even though the front is narrow as you point out. The black ones you have are more versitile than the white but for the summer and with shorts the white ones are perfect. Choices, choices.....
How's the toe area kept up? Has the mesh expanded? I'm worried that even though my regular size fits me length-wise, that the toe area will become misshapen/bumpy over a short period of time. It looks like they only offer these in full sizes too.
SartorialPhil Yes full sizes only to my knowledge. I tried the next size up but they felt too big. I have worn them no more than a dozen times as I have far too many shoes and sneakers and they have kept their shape perfectly. I stuff them with tissue after each wear as a shoe tree distorts the toe box due to the sharp incline. Unless you have chubby toes I would consider staying TTS, but see how next size up fits. Good luck.

Ha ha...sorry, that came across all wrong. The sneakers are narrow at the front for sure but if they aren't uncomfortable and unsightly now have a good think before changing sizes.

+newmoon320 I see. Yeah suede is especially bad with color transfer. Those socks are by Falke; they're a German company and I like that they're socks come in different sizes and they feel great! Pretty much all of the socks I've worked for shoe reviews in my videos are from Falke (I'm not being sponsored lol)

Not really. The sole is stiff, but the upper is very stretchy

Ha, I get you. I can see that with the sharp slope and is why I would probably need to get a size up. If they made these in a satin material, then it would definitely be too on the nose
