Management could not win the Olympics gold medals as players themselves in the past. This is unprofessional and also sets unrealistic goals for winning gold medals. It would be better to step down and allow other experienced world-class senior ex-players LCW, Misbun or Rashid Sidek to manage the team.
Seriously none of our players ranked top 5 in the world except Aaron and Soh on world 5. Even then, they will be facing top 1 or 2 enroute to be in final. Setting a gold target is day dreaming.
Yes. You are right.. but what the most funny part is the Chinese Taipei that won gold medal in MD are not even seeded players.. they are not winning any tournaments since last year and yet they can won Olympic gold medal.

This Paris Olympics 2024 is a new chapter for Badminton players career. Those who had peaked for a few rounds of Olympics games had showed their sign of retiredness. The younger players comes in hot flame with less world-class tournaments winning is able to defeat the legends of all times. The China Female Doubles had the most significant threaten to many female doubles right now. Currently Female Double badminton required men strength to step up with the challenge. The Final match was jaw-dropping intensity in Female Doubles. Less injury is becoming a better way to fight through. Hope to see everyone in 2024 advance into a new level in LA 2028
Bro ik alot ppl would agree gold sometimes is unrealistic but u clearly don't watch badminton except for during Olympics so pls don't acah2 confident in what u say, ranking in badminton literally means ntg it's a point system basically who joins more tournament consistently will be world no 1.LCW was world number for what 349 weeks and alot of the time Lin Dan was unseeded in the Olympics and bwf championship when he went up against LCW, the rest u know what happened which is unseeded lin dan beating world no 1 LCW everytime In addition, shi yu qi from china no 1 seed lost to kunlavut no8 seed in QF(lower than lzj who is no9) so pls la don't speak on matters u dk it's just stupidity, management and athlete's mentality in final 20-19 type of game point moments is the problem, we have world class badminton players and they're all very talented.
