The TV show version of Welcome to Dead House was my very first exposure to Goosebumps, back when I was 8 or 9. I outgrew it eventually, but I still occasionally go back and revisit some of my favorite stories, even now, at age 32. It helps me relive fond childhood memories.

This was by far my favorite goosebumps book, as well as episode, when I was a kid! I always liked stories where a town/community has “evil intentions” & tries to fool the people at first, only to reveal their true intentions at the end. I always love the reveal in these types of stories.
