Dover in Slide Film - From the Archive

From the Archive is a series of videos where I showcase some of my old film photography work. This is the first episode in the series, where I show the slide photos I took while on a trip to Dover, England back in 2019. The film I used is a roll of Fujifilm Provia 100F. I also show a bit of my time in isolation, and my Kodak Ektagraphic III carousel projector that I use to project my slide films for viewing.

Sometimes only a (short) series of pictures makes it possible to tell a story. Especially of events, but not only. This is why I like putting a photo book together from time to time, certainly not often enough... -- Thanks a lot for sharing. Great pictures!

I totally agree! I keep saying I’ll make a zine, but the closest thing I’ve done to that is my 9-photo sets on my analogue instagram 😂

Damn Bon, this was such a treat to watch. Enjoyed evert second, and now I want a slide projector even though I don't shoot enough slide film. Loved the sentiment at the end as well. Really lovely video man. 👏

Bon, that’s an amazing cinematography in the first part of the video, I mean in your apartment, before showing the actual slides. You shot this video alone, right ? How could you manage to achieve such an exact focus and such a shallow depth of field when parts of you being in frame as well ? Miraculous 🤔

Thanks Berndt! Yes, I shot these alone 😂 I did some prefocusing on some of the shots, but most of it just relies on my Fuji XT4’s autofocus haha
