Lamb was developed by Gray E. Martin, who also developed GEM...on Bob Lamb's ranch...tens of thousands of seeds were planted, it's parents are Gwen, Thille, and Hass. Named Lamb in honor of Bob providing the land to plant the seeds. It can alternate more than H---ASSSSS, (not Haus).
Dang, I wonder if Biden's misinformation police are coming. Cause I'm guilty. Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow. Gotta go, I hear voices outside. I think they are here!!!
I remember Hoss on the cowboy show Bonanza. Cool video! I'm growing a baby Lamb Hass at the moment in a fabric bag waiting for the summer heat to pass before committing to the ground.
That's a shirt, tail sign, but you need some avocado trees in your life. The more the better. I know a guy who knows a guy who can make that happen if you happen to be in California.
@@ScaryHairyGary yeah man I’d love a few more Avacados, actually mine just got delivered Two days ago. It’s a del rio fantastic not sure if that’s the same as del rio Pryor but still 15 degrees Hardy. I’m looking for a Wilma avocado cause it’s cold Hardy and type B and anything cold Hardy. If I can get some like help on FaceTime maybe I can pay you, I just need help to with transplanting this plant and doing it right, and then I noticed it has root rot and I only know you to talk to.
I’m subscribed. I wouldn’t go a day without. 👍 Excellent channel. “Bob Lamb” - I think in Camarillo, but I might be wrong. “Lamb Ranch.” Lambs are starting to grow on me and awfully tempted to grow one.
Gary your videos are awesome, I’m always following, they are freaking nice. Could you donate a few sions to a disable army veteran with Parkinson or any of your followers could. I’m in Parrish Florida Let me know. Keep those crazy videos coming
Hi Gary, Nice video but two things I would like to list here: 1st, Its Hass not HAAAS! The second one : your marketing for selling your trees. I guess you can find out how it was maybe by just reviewing your video!
How do you keep the rodents off your avos since you have so much fruit? I have a Haas and it seems like rodents have to scratch and bite into each fruit to see which they like best. So frustrating.
Hey Gary - I discovered your channel two days ago and have watched like 30 videos since then! Pretty addictive content... I 'm in the Texas Hill Country and want to grow like 3 or 4 avocado trees - what type say you?
Didn't you guys get to like 0 degrees this year???? The toughest I have had experience growing are Duke, Mexicola, Mexicola Grande, Stuart, and Bacon in that order of cold hardiness, but low 20's will be tough on any of them. @@ScaryHairyGary looking for 4 trees 24 inch boxs also looking at little cado and a gem what do you think will they survive in the Stockton weather and if you can tell me what 4 trees you recommend from your place thank you.
Call my manager Kyle tomorrow after 9 am and he can tell you what we have right now. I'd get 4 different trees to spread the seasonality of fruit and to add some diversity to your crop. Make sure to get at least 1 opposite flower type. All of the varieties are good for one reason or another.
We had a pretty cold winter. Lots of damage in the Valley. But if it survived this winter it should get stronger with time. Once big they can handle more cold. Protect that thing when little if cold again. 26 minus.
A profile on Carmen Hass growing in the Bay Area would be nice.

I love Lamb and you are right, Bob Lamb. Someone clarified that above in the comments. Thanks for watching.
That’s the gnarliest hat I’ve ever seen. It looks good on you though 😀
I get much more respect while wearing that hat than without it. It will be a central figure in my run for presidency in 2024.
I like your avocado videos man, keep it up
Thanks, will do!

Hi Gary what county is this orchard at? Trees sure look healthy.
San Diego. But they can look like that 650 miles north
Any Idea on why my bacon avocado fruit doesn’t get to a normal size? They grow about 3 to 4 oz at the most.

Very good boss
Hi Gary, Where can I buy a Lamb Hass Dwarf tree in the Bay Area? Please advise. Thanks, Albert from SF

Get lots of cats and don’t feed them.

How long does the lamb hass take to start fruiting?.
It could fruit immediately if it is a grafted plant
Hey Gary what type of avocado trees do you recommend for Stockton, CA thank you
I'd do Lamb Hass and Bacon, and or more if you have space.
