Here's a simpler explanation for newbies (because the video is highly confusing): Top indicator is for Limit Order Book aka "LOB" (i.e liquidity!), the bottom indicator is for Market Order Book aka "MOB" (i.e aggressors). So the top indicator allows you to monitor passive traders with Limit Orders (not a lot of value in monitoring this) and the bottom one can be used to monitor Aggressors (of some value but CVD sub-chart is better. Despite what the video says, the 2 indicators are not derived from the same equation (see instruction manual for more detail and the full formula).

Trading needs to be kept simple. The more complicated you make it the worse the outcome. Imbalance can be easily seen on any chart with naked eyes.

I disagree with you. Imbalance is real time indicator, chart is a historical indicator. This one can help to find the better entry point to the position with few penny risk and increase risk reward ratio.
