LeeTravius Mckay, Strawman. This is not the first time Kobe has called Shaq lazy and lacking in work ethic. Kobe has always alleged that Shaq always came back to camp overweight and out of shape, and would always use the first months of the season to get in shape while he (Kobe) carried the team waiting for Shaq to catch up. It’s not as simple as if he had “worked harder”.
Dont blame the media, Shaq is so thin-skinned he was ready to clap right back until he realized Kobe didnt intend for any beef.

Joshua Warren, I don’t know how old you are but this feud didn’t start with this recent comment. This is why Shaq was traded to the Heat, and why Kobe was chosen by LA and allowed Shaq to leave. When you say a man is not working as hard as he can, you are calling him a slacker and consequently lazy.
This is so dumb. Kobe and Shaq literally did an interview together and Kobe told him this to his face already. Shaq even admitted after the 1st ring he got complacent and felt like “I’m good now”.

Kobe was just the superstar sidekick who could handle more responsibility but at the time it was Shaq's time & not his. Shaq & Kobe was like LeBron & Kyrie, no LeBron no Finals appearance, no Shaq no Finals appearance. And don't say "Kobe won 2 after Shaq left", it took the Lakers years of upgrading the roster for Kobe to make it back to the Finals & he had to work so much harder to make it. It's undeniable that Shaq was the best player on the team and made the biggest impact on those teams, don't just look at PPG, look at the overall stats and Shaq is clearly the real MVP of those Lakers championship teams.
