    • @manisthemeasure381

      LeeTravius Mckay, Strawman. This is not the first time Kobe has called Shaq lazy and lacking in work ethic. Kobe has always alleged that Shaq always came back to camp overweight and out of shape, and would always use the first months of the season to get in shape while he (Kobe) carried the team waiting for Shaq to catch up. It’s not as simple as if he had “worked harder”.

    • @yallaretrippin8604

      Joshua Warren, I don’t know how old you are but this feud didn’t start with this recent comment. This is why Shaq was traded to the Heat, and why Kobe was chosen by LA and allowed Shaq to leave. When you say a man is not working as hard as he can, you are calling him a slacker and consequently lazy.

      kid melo i mean for 3 rings he basically was the Alpha doing the most heavy lifting for the team. Kobe was just the superstar sidekick who could handle more responsibility but at the time it was Shaq's time & not his. Shaq & Kobe was like LeBron & Kyrie, no LeBron no Finals appearance, no Shaq no Finals appearance. And don't say "Kobe won 2 after Shaq left", it took the Lakers years of upgrading the roster for Kobe to make it back to the Finals & he had to work so much harder to make it. It's undeniable that Shaq was the best player on the team and made the biggest impact on those teams, don't just look at PPG, look at the overall stats and Shaq is clearly the real MVP of those Lakers championship teams.

    • @RayJovjov
      @RayJovjov 5 років тому

      Just a number it would have been a “dig” if Kobe’s work ethic wasn’t actually insane. Everyone knows no one worked harder than him when he was in the league. Shaq def knows that. So again the question wasn’t asking if Shaq didn’t train. It was if he had Kobe’s work ethic. And almost no one had that. Shaq is known for being sensitive and of course took it the wrong way. When no one said or even hinted that he didn’t train at all. There was little reason to get hurt by that statement. And there def was no reason to drag Dwight into this. But Shaq is also a known bully 🤷‍♀️
