@@AdventureswithSpackmann we're subscribers. :-). BTW, our new version shipping now feeds pellets so much better for long term burning. lol. I've been heating my house with our stove all winter. @SHTFandGO.COM oh that’s awesome you’ve changed the design. I would love to come out and hunt with you! I was surprised how well this old version worked in my wall tent. Thanks for subscribing guys!
I know a guy who heats Heats a two-story, 4 car garage with one. He says the hopper holds 20 lb of pellets and will burn from 8 to 12 hours depending on the outside wind . He also has a large heavy walled steel pipe that he uses as a chimney to absorb and store a lot of the Heat. Generally speaking the temperatures between 50 and 60 most of the winter inside in the northeast. Took two years to go through the first town of pellets. But he also uses a little bit of split firewood in the spring and fall once you have it dialed in it works excellent as a pellet stove you do need to empty the Ash pan every time you fill the the hopper. So far so good❤👍
@Doug St. Laurent yes they help a ton! I have a couple. I made one into a heat powered ceiling fan for teepee hot tents. The ceiling fan made a ten degree F temperature difference at the floor. So cool. Thanks for watching!
Very nice video. I'm new to camping, infact, I recently purchased this same tent, and on it's first week up, the wind picked it up and destroyed the framing. It landed about 20 feet from where i had installed it. I intentialy left it up after our first family camp night to see if it would hold up to high winds, it did not. I since then replaced the entire frame with a heftier galvanized tubing. It doesn't look great, but im confident, it will now hold up beter. For now im still paching the tent and looking forward to reinstalling on my deck, but w with summer ending, im now looking for a stove to keep the family warm, and i think i just found it. Thanks again for your insightful camping videos.
Now they just have to make it light enough for a single hiker 😂. It's great that someone has finally addressed the constant fire feeding drawbacks of withstanding designs because right now a normal hot tent /stove is to me an "if" the temperature drops too low that i might freeze to death

@Jeff Smith I tested this stove for a month almost everyday to see the best way to get a long burn from it. Biggest problem I found was ash build up putting out the pellets. The company said they have made improvements to it and it burns more consistently now. I haven’t tested the new version but I do plan on putting out a camping video with this stove just hard to find the time. Thanks for watching.

It’s not making sense to me, but I’ll let it cool down and pay with it tomorrow. One thing I’m wishing already is a glass window somewhere. There are multiple companies that make pellet stoves for wall tents.. that being said we ran a pellet stove in the fall of 2018 from September to Thanksgiving and it was extremely nice not having to cut firewood all the time. We currently are looking at a smaler bell style tent for hunting and itll definitely have the pellet option as the bell twnt will be used to hunt birds in the midwest and itll be easier to just use pellets.
@AdventureswithSpackmann yes it is a cylinder stove the gravity feed system was attached to the back. When you got that thing roaring it sounds like a jet turbine winding up. That thing is great. We would burn wood by day and fire up the pellets.at night.
Looks like you're burning bran cereal in that stove. I wonder if you could set up some sort of folding, reflective metal wall, floor to ceiling, behind the stove to reflect heat back in the room. Specially if the stove jack was in the corner of the tent. Since you really can't sit behind the stove might as well reflect that heat back into the parts of the tent/room where you can. @Young Gouki 32 thanks bro! Hope you have a wonderful holidays! Thanks for watching
How does the gasification process work?
I’m not exactly sure, it’s double walled and some where after the burn chamber it must re-introduce the fresh air for the gasification. Thanks for watching
It’s the green stove you got coming isn’t it??? I’m torn between the two right now. But definitely getting a pellet stove soon.
@Steve B I’m not sure what you are taking about with a green stove coming? Thanks for watching
@@AdventureswithSpackmann you said you ordered another pellet stove from china. I was assuming it was one called Green stove hori 3. Guess not haha. But check that one out. I still can’t decide between that one and the shtf one.
@@steveb6444 nope it’s not that one. But I will check it out lol.
@@steveb6444 ohhh I’ve seen that one and I do want it!
@@AdventureswithSpackmann I’m going for it. If I don’t like it I’ll just sell it and get the bmg 50 later
Awesome stove great video
@Michael gineo glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching
where would I get that exact set up went on their site didnt see the whole thing ?
You have to buy it all separately but they still sell it all. Thanks for watching
@@AdventureswithSpackmann thankyou
@@gz4896 you’re welcome
Where do i buy the grill with pipe? And the part to put the pellets?
They sell both on their website. Thanks for watching
Can't get wood pellets in the wild if shtf
You are 100% correct. At that point in time you take the hopper off and you have a rocket stove with a secondary burn for the gasification. Thanks for watching
what about the other stove?
@putheflamesout yahoo which stove do you mean? Thanks for watching
Does this put out enough heat for a 10x14 tent?
Depending on how cold it gets, it’s possible. It did an alright job with this 10x12 but it wasn’t extremely cold. Thanks for watching
I didn't see the sides back or inside and I bet it runs for five to seven hrs 😂
Huh? Thanks for watching
Wished it was all stainless
@Jeff Smith that would be cool. Thanks for watching
Very interesting. Cool.
@GatorCreates so cool right bro! Thanks for watching
Well that is interesting ! Would be great to fill it up at night and get a decent sleep...
@Skills2Survive oh yeah! Thanks for watching
Freaking Genius.. ❤
Right! Thanks for watching
Pretty cool …
@Bahama Jim yeah it is! Thanks for watching
Neat but looks to funky for me. Like the griddle though
@Kokadjo Outdoors it totally can be a little funky. Griddle maybe my favorite stove accessory so far. So neat. Thanks for watching
@@AdventureswithSpackmann if hopper was on the back and more fitting to set up would be pretty cool. How much space does it take up
@Kokadjo Outdoors it doesn’t take up much room. It’s heavier than it’s big I would say. Footprint of the stove is probably 10”x20” with accessories attached. Don’t quote me on that though lol, I’m just guessing.
@@AdventureswithSpackmann Too late: Spackman said, " it doesn’t take up much room. It’s heavier than it’s big I would say. Footprint of the stove is probably 10”x20” with accessories attached."
@@AdventureswithSpackmann not to bad looks lot bigger in video
Brilliant…
@Esquire right! Thanks for watching
Thats not for outdoor or camping.
Good for orher places but not ta carry in a rucksack
I only have one stove small enough for a rucksack and I’d still stick it in my sled or on my cart instead. Thanks for watching
Good
Thanks for watching
Take you sunglass off my friend lol
Sunglasses are so I’m always “looking” at the camera even if my eyes are looking around while I’m thinking of something to say. Thanks for watching

plastic spatula seasoning ! um!!!
lol you don’t like you breakfast with a side of plastic? It’s a silicone spatula is that makes it better lol. Thanks for watching
completely pointless stove. If you are going to bring fuel, bring a bottle of gas, a space-heater and a gas stove.
It’s not pointless. Just not for everyone. To each their own. Thanks for watching
