He knew how important emotional health is to fight these conditions. He emotionally & financially supported Dave Dave throughout his life. Got him into art, paid for treatments. When he was a kid, and Dave was in despair about his future.. MJ promised him he would never let go, and he kept his promise.

The ones who actually survive and make it, the only thing they have to look forward to is a life of poverty. David was the first book I ever picked out and read by myself for a book report. I was overwhelmed by and connected to him through his story. It made a lasting impression on me, I have thought of him often through the years, I was only three years older than him, I read the book when I was 9, and he is still in my thoughts at 47. I was thrilled to see him become an inspirational artist and change his name to distance himself from that evil SOB, and achieve such a positive attitude after the horror he survived. I was sad to learn of his passing, what an amazing soul we were privileged to bear witness to. The generosity of him and his mother to share his story allowing us to share in his trauma and triumph. He touched so many. Thank you Dave Dave! You will be missed, RIP.

Well, I disagree with this doctor about "pulling back" on "other modalities" because pain meds are working for me and sometimes that is what is necessary, this would not work for me because we deal in pain everyday in the back and our insurance cannot cover this type of treatment that Dave Dave is getting. Michael Jackson's money has helped this young man to live comfortably and has paid for his medical treatments and the rest of us do not have that and it is wrong to bash on pain meds when they give us the relief that we need to do the basic things that we have to do for ourselves. I am so sick of that higher than thou attitude against pain meds because they are not "bad" for us, they help us to do what NO one is helping us to do. Yes, the pain will always be there, but we are getting relief. So, I am against doctors who want to use holistic pain treatments when they have NO idea how it feels to live how we live. This doctor is just posturing to a group of people who are against pain meds and I am sick of these little groups who want to take everything that helps away from people. This treatment that Dave Dave is getting will not work for us but I am glad that it works for him.
They couldn't take money out of the pockets of the cartels... Letting people have legal access to pure, clean, measured doses of medication doesn't make 10 different people rich as opposed to making opiates criminal.

Well, I disagree with this doctor about "pulling back" on "other modalities" because pain meds are working for me and sometimes that is what is necessary, this would not work for me because we deal in pain everyday in the back and our insurance cannot cover this type of treatment that Dave Dave is getting. Michael Jackson's money has helped this young man to live comfortably and has paid for his medical treatments and the rest of us do not have that and it is wrong to bash on pain meds when they give us the relief that we need to do the basic things that we have to do for ourselves. I am so sick of that higher than thou attitude against pain meds because they are not "bad" for us, they help us to do what NO one is helping us to do. Yes, the pain will always be there, but we are getting relief. So, I am against doctors who want to use holistic pain treatments when they have NO idea how it feels to live how we live. This doctor is just posturing to a group of people who are against pain meds and I am sick of these little groups who want to take everything that helps away from people. This treatment that Dave Dave is getting will not work for us but I am glad that it works for him.
I just read a story that said Michael didn't pay for his treatments because Davids mother had insurance to cover it all.
