I like your video it was good. I've recently started using a trimble s8 total station and I'm having problems completing calibration steps. I can't understand the instruction in the manual for adjusting the trunnion and I'm not able to calibrate the auto locking because the instrument is not allowing me to manually center the cross-hire on the target even if I disable auto lock before starting the calibration routine. I need some advice can you help me or is there a video I could watch?
But I really didn't get the setup (before measuring/staking out stuff). You preset the heights of the prism but how does this help you with knowing the Location (elevation and direction ) of where u r setup?
I'm not a surveyor, and you go thru that so FAST man...I have to learn this for plotting accident scene diagrams....ty for the video..

Very Good, have you ever setup the TSC3 with the 5700, I can't get RTK fix, working fine with the 5800.
