Zans 35 and 37gr are the best slugs I have shot. I can't wait to try out their boat tail slugs. NSA's are equally as good (they have an identical shape, but the hollowpoint is deeper on the Zan's and the lead is softer so they open up much better.
@KevinWood44- Well said man 👍🏻 I agree with you. The ZANs have a better design for expansion when compared to the NSAs. The softness of the lead makes a big difference as well. Thanks for commenting 🙏🏻
@Doug Dishler- I appreciate the support man 🙏🏻 I’ve got some real clear footage to post next week! I like to see the energy transfer as well! Nothing like that shock effect!
@Billy Hellbender Outdoors- They sure do work great! That is the second starling I have ever shot and it got smoked! It was on a trip to Colorado. Thanks for the support man, I really appreciate it 🙏🏻
@Dee Airgunner- lol! Thanks for the support man! I’ve been busy trying to film and I had a few unsuccessful trips. Plus I’m trying to get a website ready to launch 🚀
Missin your videos man. On a 72 hr shift. 12 1/2 hrs to go 😵💫. I remember you were having to get some stuff sorted on a new property I think. Hope it’s goin well for you. . I’m looking to move in a bit myself. Maybe northern Ca or Nevada, maybe southern Oregon. Take care.
Awesome video man I love those slugs in 22 cal I need to try them.in 25 cal Awesome shooting bro dam those dogs got hammered bad lol thanks for sharing bsafe
@Chris Figueroa- They are a great performing slug and they have a great price for the amount of expansion the offer! Thanks for leaving a comment man 🙏🏻
Nice shooting. Too bad it's not a year round affair. Does that scope get dark when filming (dark as in through the camera) at max magnification? I'm thinking about one. Thanks
@11B Varmint Sniper- It does loose some clarity when you get past 20x with the scope cam and it dims a bit, but not bad. I have 3 of the Ares ETR scopes and they are great for scope cam footage once you get the camera lens dialed in. I would recommend it if it’s in your price range. I love that scope 👍🏻
Hey man good video You mention it was cold did you see any difference on your accuracy?? Once I did that because the air was in the house and inside the truck steam show out the barrel not steam but white little cloud Anyway good shooting thanks
@Riolyn Herrera- It will impact your tune! What I do is keep the rifle I intend to use in the garage, which is much colder than the house, and when I sight it in, I do it in the early morning when it’s cold. That has given me the best performance when trying to hunt or shoot in cold weather 👍🏻 thanks for the question!
@Peter TLR- They are 22 cal 22gr XLHP Varmint Knockers! They’re one of my favorite slugs of all time and they hit very hard! I would definitely recommend trying them
I can't believe there is still prairie dogs down there. Here in idaho the prairie dogs are only out for two or three months. After that you won't see them until next year.
@Airguns of Idaho- Once the snow starts they disappear! I have about 5-6 good months to go after them here and in southern Colorado. Thanks for leaving a comment man 🙏🏻
@@dangolwinner Just a thought, could you do a video on how you prepare for a hunt like that? For instance, you probably zero the ammo you're going to use at 10 yards, 25 yards, 50 yards, etc..? or 10 yard incriments? Do you move the scope mounts to get more distance during the hunt, or do you know your zero at....50, then just dial down/hold over/under so you aren't adjusting your scope mounts during the hunt?
@@dangolwinner You're welcome, and thanks for all of the content you've already provided! It has been an excellent learning tool, and fun to watch! Really liked that squirrel hunting/cooking video as well!
@duffmanmark- They do! The shape is long enough to offer a good bc even if you don’t shoot them at 1050fps! They are made of soft lead as well which directly contributed to great expansion at lower velocities. Thanks for commenting man, I appreciate it🙏🏻
Those VKs at 1040 are nasty! Great stuff as always!
@Airgun Outdoors- They are probably the hardest hitting slug for their size and weight! The sound they make on a head shot is indisputable!
Nice shoots Dan and Zan's are Awesome ...
@NUMIZA Airguns- Thanks bud, they are a great slug!

Do you import them from Slovenia or buy in USA directly ?
@ANDREA- I get them shipped from Slovenia 👍🏻
The zan slugs seem to retain a lot of energy down range that dumps quite well into the target

Oh No.
Gotta wait til spring for more p dog shots. How depressing 😞
