Well Savvidis is kind like Berlusconi. I mean, Mafia-like people. They abuse their power (money) without ethical boundaries or caring about others in the least and Tifo, thankfully, always shows them as they are. Also @Tifo Football, perhaps you could also do about Melissanidis, president of A.E.K., which they won the League last season...and he is also the owner of OPAP [Revenue: EUR 1,455 billion (2017)]. The Greek betting overlords. I'm saying this while being a fan of A.E.K. since i was a kid. To me it's heartbreaking watching all these greedy and corrupt people running things in Greece (in politics too). I had stopped watching Greek football years now, same with politics. A civilization in decline!
ahahahahahahha savvidis is kind like Berlusconi ahahahahhahahahahahaha you must be living on a different planet my friend you have no idea ahahahahahahahahahaa
@@Numenor76 You completely clueless, Savvidis could totally destroy a puny poltician, your bullshit logic of your stupid ass racist mind equating Italians with mafia doesn't work here, it's your stupidity. Savvidis is real mafia owner, Berlusconi is just a dumb corrupt politician.
I'm so tired of football corruption in my country.I've been a Panathinaikos fan for all my life ,but I've stopped following the Greek Superleague in recent years not because we don't compete for the league title anymore but due to corruption and scandals like this one. This has happened to countless Greek football fans in recent years who ,like myself, prefer to watch other European competitions like the EPL.This problem needs to be solved ,as it brings the country on the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.Anyway, congrats on another great video keep up the good work.
History and politics often play a big part in the beautiful game. Clubs are formed because of political and social differences. Celtic and Rangers in Glasgow, Hibernian and Hearts in Edinburgh, every club in Northern Ireland and those are just the sectarian divides.
Great video! As a greek I can say that you are exactly right in yoyr analysis!Unfortunately many people in my country fail to see the rotten nature and corruption especially when it comes to their own teams. The AEK boss is also a known criminal quality and a mafia like figure also.
What a video guys, propably the best you have made. So much careful and accurate statements you made about football, business and politics issues. Keep up this amazing work. From a greek guy
this video was very well written in all of its aspects i was especially surprised with how right you got the politics and the history in this video while many other foreigners (not Greeks) usually get things mixed up -Props 👏👏👏
As a Forest fan, could we get another video going into more detail about Marinakis? I really don't trust the guy, and that's saying something considering we had Al Hasawi as a previous owner.
Gongrats for the cover of these events. Usually when ppl from other countries do a report on such incidents they tend to be a bit disinformed or doing a bit of a sluppy job but you had your facts really straight. Cheers from Athens, Greece. P.S Panathinaikos and Liverpool Fan.
Great and very detailed video, i just want to point out that majority of Greece's population (especially Northern Greece) dont agree on the name given to "FYROM" and that can be seen in the numberous public protests (especially the one in Thessaloniki). You should also cover more owners like Melissanidis, the owner of AEK, who also controls many shares in OPAP, Greece's biggest gambling company which got completely private in 2013. Unfortunately in Greece, i doubt if even one owner is completely clean and not controlled by political parties or outsiders. Greece has always been a puppet to East and West, and sadly this got into football as well.
I couldn’t have imagined a channel other than yours uploading a video researched that well, considering also that it’s about Greek football and not many people care about it. Amazing work, thank you so much!
He does as he pleases at the club.. Including interfering with the coach...he sometimes says that the club is his toy and he does whatever he wants with it.. On the other hand...his transfer business is outstanding and he disrupts rivals by buying the best players from them
As a Greek living abroad I would also be interested in videos about Mr. Marinakis of Olympiakos, Melisanidis of AEK Athens and most of all, I would be highly interested on a video about Panathinaikos team, the board/owners situation the last 10 years. Keep up the good work guys.
well done Tifo Football. one major mistake... in 7:30 - 7:32.... it's not only the PAOK supporters who doesn't want the new name of Fyrom but probably the 85% of the grrek people.... love from Greece!!!
False. It's only the facists/patriots/neo-nazis which is about 15%. Also people that have no clue about history or politics which is let's say another 20%.
you made a mistake..... the facists in Greece aren't only 15%. the total percentage of the black + red facists (Golden Dawn + Syriza+ K.K.E) it's about 50%.

Nailed it bro. Life of the rich and famous. There's always the how did they get that rich part. One thing he will do for city is he will build a new stadium 36-38k for PAOK. The initial designs were really nice.
Ivan Savvidis is the greatest thing that came for PAOK . He paid PAOK's dept to the Greek Goverment , spend big bucks to bring the top of the noch players(at least for greek standarts) and generally he is a positive figure .

Well this was one amazing video. Is the first that I watch from you and if all the other videos are like this one I think I can learn many things from you.
Actually Savvidis first appeared in the Greek scene about 2009-2010 and was welcomed by "New Democracy" party deputies and members from Thessaloniki. He was frustrated by ND, when its current leader (Kyriakos Mitsotakis) was elected. Mitsotakis' family has close relationships with Marinakis. Dora Bakogianni, sister of Kyriakos Mitsotakis and also a deputy (and former minister a lot of times), had Marinakis as a best man on her wedding and she is the godmother of Marinakis' son. So it was either Marinakis, either Savvidis. During a public tender for TV licenses (under the current left government), both Marinakis and Savvidis were bidders. Marinakis won one of the licenses, Savvidis didn't. During this period, there was an effort by the current government to bring Savvidis as a supporter/donor and Savvidis wasn't excluding such a possibility (on condition to get what he wanted for his businesses). The deal went sour however, especially after the agreement between Tsipras and Zaev which Savvidis strongly opposes.
Hello Tifo, I have a video suggestion, maybe we could get an analysis of Frankfurt's 4:1 win over Lazio? To me a surprisingly good performance by Frankfurt, it really made me want to know more about them
very good job! Keep going One of the best sporting channels in youtube As a greek i have to say that you made a very good video to explain the football situation that it's taking place to our country and about the part that you are talking about macedonia i have to say that the greek citizens that manifesting over the name are parts of far-right politics groups or very religious. The majority of greek citizens stays passive about the change of the name or we accept it as a very good diplomacy move from two neighbours countrys
That's the point, Dimitris. Why should anyone care which country can claim ancient Macedonia's history when neither of them has anything to do with it? And even if they did, what's the difference? Don't you see that you're manipulated to hate Tsipras and the Macedonians over a non-issue by corrupt businessmen who just want to make a buck and further Russia's evil empire?
the fuck you talking about? this is our history.Macedonians were a Greek tribe.Ancient Macedoninas are the predecessors of Greeks and history is important.
2:53 I know I'm a bit late but I must ask why the choice to draw that particular weapon, the Tavor 21 (TAR-21, an Israeli assault rifle developed in the late 1990s, rather than a Kalashnikov rifle. Just generally curious. Good video as always!
Awesome video but Alexis Tsipras is practically far away from being a left side politician. Before the elections he did actually introduce his self and party as a leftists but since he was elected he's government has followed the path of neoliberal political tactics (almost). Keep up the good work.
"almost" he privatized everything that could be privatized, he is literally a neo-liberal portraying himself as a left-wing populist before 2015 election.
Although I'm a PAOK fan the greek football especially at the last 20 years has been the most corrupt league in the balkans if not in the whole europe imo. Also Savvidis has a kinda shady past and relationships with shady people but in Greece he may be the least corrupt shareholder among the biggest teams in super league. For God's sake he said he will pay with his own money for the installation of VAR on every football field.
The amount of research put into this is immense.. But you failed to specify that Paok was robbed in the olympiakos game as well.. With their coach hilariously being hit by a paper roll and faking injury in order to have the match won by a commitee.. As well as the AEK game.. When PAOK's last minute goal was WRONGFULLY DISSALOWED.. So next time you should be more objective about the games.. Not only about the politics and history involved.
Sure but we can not omit the fact that being hit with a roll of paper was a wrong action from the paok fan that it should be punished .. Also AEK, one night before the match, get known about the corrupted decision of the government that Tuba stadium is going to host paok fans . This action came against the previous decision that Tuba is closed .. Last but not least we should not forget the grace of referees to paok team ..

(At first sorry for my bad English.)You have it wrong my friend!! When the match PAOK-OLYMPIACOS was about to start one fan of PAOK threw a very have item in the face of the coach of Olympiacos, then PAOK lost 3 points and another punishment was 3 matches without fans .Olympiacos win 0-3 as the match didn't start. The day that PAOK and AEK were playing the court of Justice at 3:00 a.m. decided to give PAOK his 3 points back. The problem was that this day was the match PAOK-AEK. The question was how in so few time they printed 27.703 tickets for this match!! The PAOK-AEK match started but it didn't end , while PAOK scored a goal at 89' but the referee said that it was offside and the goal was not registered then IVAN SAVVIDIS entered the pitch... After 1 week the Goal (offside) counted and the match ended 1-0 with winner PAOK. The referee said it was scared for his life and he will not be a referee anymore ( This is why the goal counted in the match PAOK-AEK) . Finally I have to say that Greek Liga doesn't play in pitches but in the court of Justice !!!
Needless to add that the referee had a fair cause to disallow the goal, as one of the PAOK players who was offside was in front of the ball and blocking the keeper view
Great video, I like your detached style, it allows viewers to form their own conclusions. As a Greek football fan, I had stopped watching many years back, as I felt disgusted by the situation you describe. One or two owners would use popular teams as just a tool for advancing a broader, not-football-related, agenda. As expected, their teams would dominate, as success is a requirement if you want to keep Greek fans backing you up for any significant amount of time. I recently tried to start watching Greek football again, and found out that we now have THREE of these guys. The two main results of this are (i) all other teams are either completely dependent on one of them (getting players on a loan deal cheaply and allegedly money under the table to throw the matches versus one of the three teams and play really hard against the other two) or getting the really really short end of the stick when it comes to fairness (e.g. attitude of referees) and (ii) when two of the three play against each other, it might get really, really ugly; a recent Greek cup final took place while fans of AEK and PAOK stabbed each other WITHIN THE STADIUM PREMISES. I know it will not save the world or anything, but I would be thankful if you did more videos about Greek football, to spread outside of Greece what everybody in Greece more or less knows. Possible examples would be videos about Marinakis and/or Melissanidis, digging deeper into Savvidis, digging deeper into the recent match-fixing case etc. Disclaimer: I have only watched this video of yours, if scandals are not one of your main focuses, ignore my request and thanks for the video in any case.
A goal was scored, the ref and linesman showed it's perfectly legal. Then, the whole AEK staff invaded the pitch. The ref declared the goal offside and that was when Savvidis entered the pitch.
The ref checked the linesman and then showed that the goal is legal...when he saw AEK players protest, the tef aproach the linesman who according to him he said to the ref "it is offside but you can not disallowed in here" behind the linesman were the gates with paok's ultras then the ref disallowed the goal .
Very good analysis and most of the facts are correct. However I would like to point out some things. First of all I am a Greek PAOK fan but I still I will try to be as fair as possible. In this video you have focused almost solely on the outcome last year's Super League. The thing is in an analysis like that we should also look at what led to all this. In the last season PAOK was after many years a realistic title contender up until a previous match against Olympiakos. In fact PAOK was leading the table. Olympiakos was in such a bad shape at the time that a domination at this game was sure. But the game never ended. In fact it never even started. That happened because a cashier roll supposedly hit their coach on the head (we use them at the start of the games to create a nice effect instead of fire crackers that are not allowed anymore). Supposedly one roll didn't roll out fully and hit him. Of course this is bullshit you can look up the video and even like that a game just starts with the assistant coach on. Olympiakos just said we are leaving and they did just that. (A game important for the title race is lost here). And now we go to the AEK incident. Because of the other match we effectively lost the lead on the table and we had to win AEK no matter what to take the lead once more. People were already angry so the team put a special net behind AEK's bench so that they have no excuse. Game started fans were very good not causing any trouble. And we come to the 89' minute. Game at 0-0. Fernando Varela scores for PAOK a real goal (no offside look it up). The thing is the assistant referee started running to the middle of the pitch as usual like no offside. That's what the referee did as well. AEK players went around the referee and started screaming to him not to count the goal. After around 2 minutes ( I'm not joking) the referee decides that it IS an offside. After what has happened this year and all the other years with Athens clubs everyone went mad. That's when Savvidis came down to the pitch and screaming for the team to leave te match. After some time it looks like his jacket was pulled away and there is a pic made with him having a gun in him pocket. (Never reached for it never attacked anybody just for self defense i guess I don't know) . Important to notice here is the fact that nobody saw the gun in real time. After some minutes the referee asked the teams to return to the changing rooms just because there were all these people on the pitch. In the security cameras can be seen that only then did AEK members seeing foto's of the gun on the INTERNET and started showing one another. Later the referee asked them to return to the pitch for the final minutes but they refused saying they were scared for the gun (they never saw in person). I don't think that what Savvidis did was right but let's just look at everything that led to this reaction and not just the result. Still this is by far the most accurate foreign report I heard about the incident . Good recearch keep up the good work!
1. Olympiacos tactics (abandoning the game) in your match were cheap, but remember your tactic's against Panathinaikos in the previous season. They were the exact same (abandoning the game). 2. PAOK was awarded the 3 points he lost for the match against Olympiacos and he got his gates opened (they were supposed to stay closed) at 2 am in the night, just A FEW HOURS before the PAOK-AEK game. I mean is that a teams chased by the system? 3. PAOK's goal was offside because another PAOK player who is in offside position moves towards the ball and TRIES to get to it. That by rules if an offside. 4. Either way i think we can agree that is a pretty hard decision to make and there are lots of opinions about it. But, no matter what, Ivan Savvidis should NEVER enter the pitch with the gun and threaten the ref. Other PAOK officials should NEVER enter the pitch and threaten the ref ''you are finished''. The ref was threatened and that is why he wanted to continue the game. PAOK should be banned for all this and he rightfully was. And if you ask me his ban was a pretty light one.
PAOK's goal was clear.PAOK player (Mauricio) maybe was in offside position, but he doesn't touch the ball or prevent aek's goalkeeper and defenders to save the ball. That's why when PAOK scored aek's goalkeeper didn't react in any way and stayed on the ground with a sad face.We 've seen many cases in other championships where goals similar to this were counted.
1. Why is it a different situation? In both cases the manager was hit and his team grabbed the opportunity to win the 3 points without a match. (in PAOK's case it's worse cause he was losing). Also, do you want me to remind you how PAOK tried to win the 2017 championship? Yep, that's right on a court's decision. 2. I will ask you something and please be honest. Let's suppose that AEK and PAOK play a very crucial game for the championship but this time in Athens. PAOK is 5 points ahead and just a few hours before the game AEK is given 3 points back and now the difference is just 2 points. Would you talk about ''the Athens state'' or not? And also if the system is chasing PAOK why would the Association give him the 3 points back? 3. It's not a clear goal, because he TRIES to get to the ball. He makes the move. 4. Come on now. In almost every game the players protest against a referee's decision. What does that mean? And it's kinda ironic to say that the referee was threatened by AEK when your team's owner and officials invaded the pitch and told the referee ''you are finished''.
why does the sign at 7:30 say twinned with Royal Tunbridge Wells? im from twells and have never heard of this!? on wiki it says we are twinned with Wiesbaden, Germany
i think there's corruption everywhere where a vast ammount of money is in danger, it's juts that in Greece there is a bigger need for quick wealth, hence betting and in general corruption, I think there is a same motive in latin america as well, football is a big deal there as in Greece
Nice video Tifo Football, but I would like to highlight some facts that should definitely be included. I witnessed what happenned last year from inside Toumba Stadium and I can claim I have a clear picture of what happenned. You should have mentioned that 2 weeks before the infamous PAOK AEK, PAOK played against olympiacos in Toumba. The match never started because of a disgusting plot made up by rotten olympiacos. After that the fans of PAOK where full of anger. Later when PAOK scored a goal in the 89 minute of PAOK AEK the referrees firstly agreed that it was a clear goal. But later, after 8 minutes of discussion in front of PAOK fans (who were so happy at the moment) they decided to deny the goal. Me personally and everyone around me felt outrageous, like we were being stolen... AGAIN. At that moment 30.000 people could have stormed the pitch and the referees would not be alive now. Instead Savvidhs came in and everything else followed.... The world is not aware of these facts and they all blame us.. PAOK is being stolen of what he deserves for decades by Athens. We are the only ones fighting against athenian corruption and controll. Unfortunately your video suggests that it was PAOK responsible for whatever happenned...
@Νεζαρ Α. do you want me to hit you with a cash register roll to see if it hurts?talking about hypocrisy...a cash register roll is lighter than an empty can of beer??

One more thing should be said regarding the last season. Due to the points deduction administered by the Greek FA and following legal suits from the affected clubs, at one point, no one really knew how the Superleague table looked like. They were like three different versions of the league table at one moment with various total points for the affected clubs. Greek football mess at its finest (or worst).
Savidis is not a criminal and he will never be.The biggest criminals ar marinakis and melissanidis.Savvidis try to clear the crime so the criminals who controll the channels can affect people. They present savvidis like criminal and greece's enemy. But he actually love greece more than the most of us.Please never judge by someone fro a bad moment.
PAOK and Savvidis are the victims of the football corruption in Greece. You maybe think that Savidis is the offender, but actually he is the victim in this incident. AEK's and Olympiacos's owners have both been accused of illegal actions regarding football in Greece (composition of criminal organization in football), while Savidis is much more transparent than the aforementioned. PAOK's owner felt that he was getting stolen for a second successive match against AEK, as the referee cancelled a fair goal after 5 minutes without any reason, while 2 weeks ago Olympiakos left the pitch due to a celebrating paper that fell on his coach's shoulder. PAOK was leading the league by 4 points from AEK (2nd), after these 2 incidents, PAOK was found 3rd 6 points behind AEK. The image might be harsh, (although in Greece it happens regularly), but the image sometimes is proven to be stronger than reality, thus I suggest that you focus on justice and emphasize on the entire surrounding plot of a single incident.
When did AEK had a criminal organization in football? AEK didn't win the league for 24 years, and was relegated in 2013. How can a team that controls the system suffer all that? Also, before the PAOK-AEK game, AEK was 2 points higher than PAOK. In fact, it was 5 points but the 3 points you were deducted for the game against Olympiacos were given back AT 2 AM. Just a few hours before the PAOK-AEK game. Yeah, talking about a team chased by the system...
Yeah and you forgot to mention that in the current championship, before PAOK-aek you thought that PAOK's goalkeeper Paschalakis would be suspened, but one day before the match you learned that he would play. This is why you lost 2-0. Once again your are full of bullshit.

chaos in Greece . Not only the goverment but the football association aswell ? Thats what corruption have done to a nation . I hope someone can change Greek football & bring them back on the track where they should be .
Stop providing wrong information...Savvidis never showed his gun it was in his pocket and he has access to have a gun on him everywhere in Greece except the airport...
PAOK was never the only team that fell victim to the favoritism that the three powerhouses of Athens and Piraeus (AEK,Panathinaikos and Olympiacos) enjoyed, but pretty much any team that posed a threat to them in Greece. Even teams from Athens that were not in line with them and their clique experienced wrongdoings, with one of the most well known incidents concerning a club from Athens/Piraeus amongst greek fans being the decimation of the historic club of Ethnikos Piraeus, another club from Piraeus, which saw Ethnikos become obsolete, bankrupt and a relic of the past, now fighting in the lower divisions for more than 20 years, all part of a plan that sought to make Olympiacos the only prominent club is Piraeus without any local rival. Moreover, in 1927 the two most famous clubs of Athens (Panathinaikos and AEK) and the most famous club of Piraeus (Olympiacos) established an alliance with the purpose of protecting the interests of one another in local tournaments and in the league. They named their alliance POC (Panathinaikos Olympiacos and Constantinople for AEK) and this alliance kept on officially until the mid '60s, but lowkey, every football fan in Greece knows it is still in effect but in a more backstage role than it was in the past. As you can see, Greek Football was always neck deep in shit,it's not a modern football era thing that has been going on only for the past two decades. And last but not least, PAOK fans never wanted Greek Football to be clean and free of corruption, all they wanted was to take Olympiacos' place in the "throne" if they were ever given the chance, nothing more, and with Savvidis' money and power they've got it. They presented themselves as proponents of a corruption free football, but when Savvidis established himself in a position of power in Greek Football,he quickly began to abuse that power and started to do the same things Olympiacos did when they were in charge of things. And lo and behold, not a single PAOK fan complained about the direction his club went, instead they started to enjoy it and become even more arrogant and power hungry. This is the second year of Savvidis' reign and pretty much all of Greece despises PAOK and its fans, not only because they've started doing what Olympiacos and the other teams from Athens did in the past, but because they are doing it while labeling themselves as victims and that they have every right to do so because they got wronged in the past. They have become what they have always hated and vowed never to be,what each greek football fan calls them these days, the Olympiacos of Northern Greece.
Very good video and well researched. Would like to mention that current president of EPO the greek football federation is a guy that Savvidis endorsed and said "this is our guy" as his attempt to fight the previous system is building his own system of controling the federation and the refs. Savvidis essentially bought the superleague but hasn't taken it home yet. Last year they basically gave it away by hitting the olympiakos coach with a roll of paper, whatever they say about this is absolute bullshit since just the previous year it happened to their coach with an empty can of beer and they were ok with leaving and taking the match then. As an added insult the team at fault then, panathinaikos, lost points and had their fans banned for three matches, Paok punishment for the same thing? Nothing. And the legendary walk in the pitch with a gun situation. In any serious country the punishment for this would be far more severe than 3 measly points but they act like it was stolen from them. Anyway it looks like this year is going to be theirs anyway unless they royally fuck up from now on. All it took was a russian oligarch putin flunky to come and take over the greek economy media and sports and maybe change our country's politics to serve russia but hey good on them they finally (almost) did it!
Tifo, Paok was the only one(except Olympiacos) who benefited from Olympiacos dictatorship in Greek football. All these years AEK and Panathinaikos tried to break Olympiacos legacy with a whole bunch of money(he had all the referees with him and some of the rest teams by his side) while paok was not spending anything and just taking his chances for a Cup etc. So by 2011 and after, while AEK and Panathinaikos were led to bankruptcy paok was clean and benefited by this whole olympiacos system and now can dominate the greek championship.
I've been a subscriber for so long and always enjoyed your videos. But as a Greek you surprised me with your great presentation of greek football. Everyone in Greece knows that Savvidis is Vladimir Putin's man here. Saddest thing is that Ivan Savvidis invading the pitch with bodyguards and a gun went viral, but funny thing is that PAOK supporters believe that the punishment was harsh and that their club shouldn't be deducted any points. Even today, they approve of this invasion and think that they should be champions. Most Greeks believe that PAOK should be relegated and have zero tolerance to gun invading Savvidis. But that was not the case, as PAOK's president was just fined for 100.000€ and the club was deducted two points from the next season. So practically they got away with it, instead of relegating to the lowest divisions.
Άρης Ιδόσογλου wow even though you are Greek you know nothing and only wrote bullshit. I will explain why in detail and debunk your comment: 1.) Savvidis is a billionaire and has his own interests, he is not the henchman of Putin as you claim, but he furthers his own interest with a lot of important people. Politicians such as Tsipras and Putin are of course included since his business is mainly operating in Russia but he has also important assets in Greece. That is how he got to be a billionaire in the first place, and meeting politicians is something he has in common with every other billionaire. 2.) Wrong again, PAOK supporters MAINLY critizise that the referee Kominis made a mess out of this game by first giving the goal and then 5 minutes (!) later he gave in to the pressure of AEK officials and declared the goal offside. Later on, the referee changed his decision again and wrote in the match report that the match ended 1-0 but was abandoned, what kind of refeering is this? In which serious league one team can pressure the referee to change his decision after several minutes? Only in the Greek league, and of course PAOK fans do complain about this. I know no PAOK fan who approves of the pitch invasion by Savvidis as you claimed, but considering what lead to it (the referee changing its decision because of pressure by AEK officials) I can understand why Savvidis did it. 3.) Again and again WRONG, most Greeks DO NOT believe that PAOK should be relegated, that is something YOU want to believe. Considering the sanctions, there were three possible punishments for what happend, the lowest punishment was just a monetary fine, a higher punishment include a point deduction, as well as a monetary fine, ghost games and a personal bann for Savvidis, and the third and most harsh punishment would lead to relegation. In the end PAOK got 3 points deducted in the running season (destroying our hopes for the championship), further 2 points deducted in the next saison, had to pay 63.000 € and was fined with 3 ghost games while also losing the game 0-3 on paper to AEK. So FC PAOK got the whole sanction package, and was just spared the relegation. Additionally, Savvidis got banned for three years from all stadiums in the Greek league and cup and had to personally pay 100.000€. You call this a light punishment? Really? Yeah, name me one team in Greek sports history that got relegated for a pitch invasion, just one. There is none, and this means you can stop your lies and propaganda right here since you have only stated false accusations or statements that lack half of the information. End of story.
You forgot to say in the end that Ivan Savvidis has joined Marinakis's side and made a union in Greek Football! The only pure and clean club in Greece is also in Thessaloniki and it's called ARIS the God of war!
The main issue with the name change is that it is not widely desired, nor supported by either population. It came from outside pressure from EU and US diplomats and you can say it was artificially engineered out of nowhere. So, as you pointed in the video, the West, especially NATO, tries to put the blame on Russia and russian figures for disrupting this whole process, which may or may not be true. Be as it may, funding ultras fans who number a few thousand at best can not influence the referrendum in FYROM, which had a low turnout and hence was considered invalid. The greek football league scandals over the years is a different matter altogether...
Never thought you'd make a Savvidis/Greek football vid! Once again you hit it out of the park!!

Coming from a Thessaloniki resident, your video is highly accurate, and rare in that it states the fact without overbearing judgment.
Oh man! I'm from Greece and I can't believe how exact were the facts in this video. You have done your research so good! Congratulations!

Wow, we need more videos about Greek Super League! Tifo thank you from an Olympiacos fan

The majority of greek citizens stays passive about the change of the name or we accept it as a very good diplomacy move from two neighbours countrys
no, only lefties and cuckholds support tsipras and this stupid choice.

The day that PAOK and AEK were playing the court of Justice at 3:00 a.m. decided to give PAOK his 3 points back. The problem was that this day was the match PAOK-AEK. The question was how in so few time they printed 27.703 tickets for this match!!

Nope...It was clearly an offside violation...
Very good video and accurate. Thank you. By the way Greek football is still dirty as well savvidis team.

i think there's corruption everywhere where a vast ammount of money is in danger, it's juts that in Greece there is a bigger need for quick wealth, hence betting and in general corruption, I think there is a same motive in latin america as well, football is a big deal there as in Greece

Unfortunately your video suggests that it was PAOK responsible for whatever happenned...
the fact that the coach of olympiakos was hit by a item is a "disgusting plot"??ποσο αστειοι εστε ρε!!ο ιβιτς ποναει ακομα???
Was hit by paper.. he left so olympiacos would not be destroyed. Πως την αντεχετε μονοι σας αυτην την υποκρισια

This is true. You had different league tables published in different outlets!
MrKristofersson exactly.. Finally somebody sees the whole truth
Savvidis the victim? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Let me laugh out loud!

chaos in Greece .
Let me guess, you are an Aris fan. Cause no way you believe that PAOK is Olympiacos of the north.
As a greek...well said
well done tifo
We are waiting for an new report about others businessmen in Greece!
You did not saw the game ?
But it was a VALID last minute goal.. And what about the circus at the olympiakos game.. you think that was fair to PAOK?

Comrade Hellas Μόνο ΠΑΟΚ, ταραματζίκο
"Your career as a referee is finished!" Quote from Ivan Savvidis on the PAOK vs AEK match
Nope. Get your facts straight.
