Also, some people are more comfortable without foundation. Their skin is good enough and even better without complexion. So just sunscreen and lipstick and they're good to go.

@@c.s.9511 Yes, I agree. I guess it also depends on the individual face and the particular products you're using. I absolutely love the whole "less is more, effortless, Parisian chic" thing, but every time I try to achieve a quick, undone makeup look, I think I look too unpolished and not that attractive. Maybe I just haven't yet found the RIGHT five minute face for me.

I don't have good skin and I only use concealer on my face. It takes a lot of patience but it looks more natural to me in the end. But yeah I wish it was as fast and easy for me as it is for her.

There are so many arguments in the comments about her being Korean or Japanese. Kiko's mother is zainichi Korean, which means her mother is Korean BLOOD but lived in Japan, and Kiko also lived in Japan since childhood. Her father is American and Kiko was born in Texas, so that is why she is both an American and Japanese citizen, but with Korean genetics.
There's unfortunately still a lot of latent racism towards Korean Zainichi in Japan, but I'm glad Kiko has kept her head up and persevered despite these sentiments.

I've been wearing makeup to cover my crappy skin since I was 15. I'm 21 now, and I've had enough. Enough of the heaviness, the oil, the vicious cycle of breakouts. Taking advantage of this Covid-19 isolation period. I haven't worn makeup for a week now, and I'm drinking loads of water. My skin is starting to look better already, it can breathe and heal, and I swear I'm determined to get clear skin for once and for all. I believe it has been a combination of stress, makeup, hormones, poor diet and dehydration that my skin has been so bad but I'm working so hard to rectify it now and look after myself better
Beanyhead keep trying. Don’t let discouragement make you give up. Ive been in the same situation. Also the journey helped me learn to love myself and accept how I’m made inwardly and outwardly. I’m still learning but it’s something we must all learn in life. Some days are harder, but it gets easier. You can do it! 💕

Keep going! Water will help you the most! I was on the same boat in my early 20s. Had acne even after graduating college. Went down the accutane route and even then my acne was coming back and I hated my skin. Try to really get the skincare and diet portion right- hydrating face masks, eye creams, and jugsssss of water help me the most. Listen to the people who have similar skin as you and get all the tips and product recos you can get! It's much more helpful than trying to wander your way down the research.
The only thing you need is water, 8 hours of sleep, clean silk pillow cases, and then buy a very good oil based alcohol free cleanser, retinoid serum for night, vitamin c serum for the day, and always chemical sunblock with spf 50 and pa+++ and in 2 months you r skin will be better than ever
And depending of your skin you can also have some natural anti allergic clay based face mask for hydration 3 times a week
And if you have a good beautician you can go to have a mechanical pore cleaning once in 3 months
And never do any makeup
This routine helped me to have the best skin in my life and for the long run its the cheapest way to get the best results
It might sound expensive but the products like serum last for a long time

I've known about Kiko since early 2000s during my exchange stay in Japan -- she was one of the new teen models for Seventeen Japmag and was in almost ever other magazine since ! Been a fan of her since then.. She always had such a beautiful bright smile and unique look! And it's insane to see how she hasn't aged that much! Genetics for sureeee 😍💖

Obviously most celebrities will be beautiful and have gorgeous skin and hair, they are rich and can afford luxury products and treatments and lifestyle, which helps a lot. We gotta embrace ourselves so we don't live a miserable life wishing we we looked a certain way. How many companies would be out of business if we started loving ourselves and our bodies?

After watching this video I hunted for the RF EH-XR10 because they do not sell it in Canada and last year my boyfriend gifted it to me for my birthday!
