Overall it was a classic performance from Simone, the only thing missing was the last minute goal, which was nothing unusual, and according to xG both teams created around 1.5 xG, although Madrid had a little more quality in their chances. Overall, since Atletico went to 6-2-2 in defence they were able to overload their midfield, so I don't know if it's possible to replicate that performance.
