this is an example of the only proper apology one should accept if their partner would yell at them like that. arguments happen, it's normal and usually healthy but there's a line as to how far it is healthy and if that is crossed and your partner doesn't feel any remorse, doesn't apologise (properly/at all) then you shouldn't settle for that. you deserve better (maybe an apology like this?!), don't expect any less🌼 also, rest in peace to all of our ears and hearts, i would totally sob for hours if someone yelled at me like that

Half the time, the kids were dragged in to pick or choose a side. I don't recall him ever apologizing to her in front of us, and that's really stuck even years after they divorced, even years after I moved out. Even if it's all fake/roleplay, it's actually so comforting to hear someone not only apologize for snapping but feel torn up about it
