Early Season Georgia Duck Hunt and Scouting Mission

The first spilt of the Georgia duck season is always a hit or miss. While local Wood Ducks offer shot opportunities, you never know what other species may work their way into your decoy spread. As much fun as it is to hunt and rekindle your waterfowl excitement, it is equally as important to use the first week to pattern the birds and scout for the second spilt of the season ahead. This is that hunt and here is my story.
