“This festival goes for 8 days but nothing is really happening the first 4 days” You guys definitly missed out on the real deal of Roskilde. One of the best parts of this festival is the warm up days with all the camp parties going off. There is all kinds of different experinces arranged by the “people of Roskilde” with small stages and soundsystems build by the crowd. I would recommend you guys go try the Roskilde Camp feeling next year! You wont regret it! Trust 🤟🏼 Otherwise great content and you guys never miss a good festival, I am getting so much fomo each sunday night…🤩
@@RasmusKromann haha yeah I thought the same. The warmup days were awesome and often my favourite memory of the festival. Also waking up hungover and going for a swim in the pond 😘
I was there in 2000. Didn't fancy to watch Perarl Jam but walked by that main stage after the music was stopped. That was strange. Almost no information. Next morning I had like 70 missed calls from numbers I didn't know. Turned out to be parents of the lads I was camping with. Went home and cried. It felt like I lost someone very dear to me. And eventhough I never met the people who passed away, they were part of special community. My community.. Festivals was never the same to me after that incident. Love from Copenhagen, Denmark
I was standing next to you during Foo Fighters, the guy with long hair. I thought you guys were nuts in the best way😭 my friend told me about you, and send me this video. Better check you guys out now 😂
Great video. As a dane it was great seeing you guys go to Roskilde. Went many times when i was younger. Also if you ever go to Roskilde again. Do yourself a favor and camp on the festival campsite. Many themed camps and many great parties.
Seeing Rob crying after Foo was like someone holding up a mirror from 2013, when I stood in the same field sobbing after watching Metallica, hammered on cardboard wine. Thank you so much for this!
gotta love the scene when Choccy blows the whistle during a performance. ask any raver back in the day whistling was part of the dancing choreography. Gatecrasher Sheffield. whistle & pacifier actually😝
The thunderstorm Jake and Cameron experienced on Friday morning was the same one I woke up to in a tent just like theirs in the general camping area. I was at Roskilde for the full eight days, and because the weather had been like that all week, I almost went home out of frustration with the constant changes. Anyway, great video once again. I really hope you consider coming back to experience camping in the general area, even if not for the full eight days, because it's amazing and I think you'd enjoy it a lot. Just a random fact: when you went out of the festival area, you visited an area called "Dream City," where people construct larger camps 100 days before Roskilde starts and host huge parties during the festival.
'Coz I am still sentient, I know where we're going... where are we going?' Ffs, how funny 😂 I bloody love this channel, gutted I didn’t find it 'til recently but the binggggeeee I have been on, I've had a great time.
Thanks for visiting my favourite festival. People were slightly out of steam the last days due to the weather (and the 8 days). As I've aged I only come Tuesday to get one of these "warm up" days and then the full on music days - think that's enough as I've passed into 35 years old. The wine in a carton can fuck you up. Tastes like shit - works a wonder. Always hammer one of those.
Whats real nice about this upload is seeing you guys being such good friends and taking care of each other. Heartwarming. Hope to see you at Roskilde in 2025❤
Finally a real deal at my all time favourite festival. I’ve got 13 wristbands from Roskilde, festival Not that I loved all line ups,but I always loved the atmosphere. Big up to you guys for going there and I hope we’ll meet you all at the camp next year.
Rob, your FF love ist soooo pure! Love watching you love the FF 😍I love them for decades and it always brings me to tears, when I see them live. Hoping for some German/Austrian dates next year! Fingers crossed!!
I went to Roskilde twice, once in 1996 & the other in 2001, the year after the deaths & they weighed heavy on everything that happened that year for obvious reasons. It's a great festival and in 2001 I saw some incredible acts including a decent Bob Dylan set. I also saw Aqua for 5 minutes... You guys wouldn't know what festivals were like prior to that Pearl Jam incident in 2000. Fence jumping was standard each year at Glastonbury & a number of festivals. Reading's security was often lax. Overcrowding at festivals was common, especially at Glastonbury but after Roskilde in 2000 that all changed. That's one of the big reasons the superfence is around Glastonbury & it's so hard to get in. Those deaths shook Michael Eavis up badly as there could have easily been deaths at Glastonbury in 2000 as there were at least 200k more people on the site than there should have been. There were also crushes at Reading going back years, with the Foo Fighters first gig there in 95 being an amazing gig, but again, I'm amazed nobody died that afternoon. I remember being pushed against a pole thinking that at least if things go wrong I could try to climb the pole. In the recordings of that gig you can hear Dave Grohl's concern & him trying to ease the crowd. Also, I echo what other comments have said. Roskilde is a festival you need to spend a week at. It's a different sort of week compared to Glastonbury but you miss all the run up to the main days & you need to really be in the main campsites if you go again. There's an incredible mix of people from all over Europe that go to Roskilde & the people there are great. Anyhow, great video. Don't drink litres of wine, your body will thank you when you're 50. I speak from experience...
Stumbled on to your channel, it's hilarious. Like a look behind the scenes of what british tourists live through. Very informative about the festivals but you guys are like the stereotype "annoying" british tourists at a festival, much more fun to look at yt videos than to try to deal with the british loudness irl when you're hungover as hell.
How do you boys get such crisp footage? I've tried taking video on my phone and it's shit in comparison. Also, I know we shouldn't laugh at the afflicted but fucking hell Rob Kellas, the state of it! I've been in some similar predicaments but thankfully none of it was ever captured on camera. Not had such a grin at one of your videos in ages. Thank you for continuing to put it all out there for our entertainment. Great vid.:)

There used to be a tour called Not So Silent Night in America. Jane’s Addition was the headliner for the show we had in Oakland, I kept saying “please cancel” every time I heard the radio ad for the show. Just my luck, they pulled out the night of, I saw the stage crew rolling their equipment boxes away. Green Day filled in last minute since they were local. Glad I’ve never had to endure a Jane’s Addiction show 😂❤
