Alex you are making me late to work lol, can’t pass up watching such a great interview! Thanks for having Alec on again! You guys have a great rapport and we all benefit from this! Thanks for the upload
Wow, two of my favorite you-tubers. Of course that might be due to my present Coyote that I own and my hope to get a ZL1 and take it to Baltimore to get it built.
Let's go! You guys should do a show maybe once a month, if possible. I'll donate to the cause. FYI I haven't watched the show yet, in case it was said already lol.
Man Alex.. I am so glad you and Alec met.. This dude is a wealth of knowledge and I would never guess he is sub 30yrs old.. The both of you are my go to source for FACTUAL content.. Its such a breath of fresh air hearing the truth from guys like you two that its really shining a spotlight of the lack of knowledge and all out lies being pushed in the racing/car community.. I sold my 2.3tvs gen2 stick car in 2022 and got a 22 SS 1LE stick car and Alec is the only guy who I am gonna let touch it.. Even though I'm in Indiana, I will spend the money to ship it to him.. I want to stay N/A but the car needs an extra 100-150hp to match the chassis & suspension capabilities, and after seeing your debacle with your 5.8, there is no way some idiot is digging into my motor.. Big, Big two thumbs up for the content!!
23:57 That Silver Camaro running 8.0 has the Prue Drivetrain Solutions Stage 2 10L90 and billet stator race converter. It says it right on their ig page. That's the company I was telling Alex about on the live that he sould look into for 10r80 stuff... They are the only reason ANY bmw/supras are runing 7s and 8s now.... Before the pure trans came along, the bimmers were lucky to run a 9 without blowing up.
So glad both you touched on the clowns that are on ig making these podcast reels and have no clue. Sadly they are what's causing what's going wrong and the miss information in the car community.
I have a 2017 Mustang GT with 10,000 miles on her and all stock still.. I just want to do 600 to 650 to the wheels, But I want it to be legal on 93 pump gas, and I want to roll through inspection without drama every 2 years? Do I go Whipple or VMP and who do I take my car to to get this done Safe/Right???
I tell you what if I do ever turn my car up and if I break my trans I will be getting a tremec for sure.. As long as this car is good to me I am going to keep her.. It's been a while since I've been in a manual so it's always fun to me.. But I love it. Even though mine is a 2017 I still have low miles and take care of her, she's a weekend car for sure.. Once in a while my Nissan acts up and I may have to daily the car but I put her in comfort mode and drive it like a Caddy to work.
I would think it would be easier to come from no prep to transition to prep. In theory because you're used to taking out power here and there and tweaking throughout the pass, now add prep and basically you can just throw more and more power. I know suspension and stall all those thing go into to im just speaking on the basic things first
I’ll tell you why the drag racing scene is favoured towards street style cars. It’s a lot more exciting watching a street car that can potentially be a nice/shit car and the surprise factor is more exciting. Everyone knows what to expect the bracket racing. You might think that’s more exciting, but the truth and the facts are that street racing is popular for a reason.
I like when they got into the transmission stuff because wow what a difference they make now. I am old enough to remember when Automatic's made fast cars slow and now they make slow cars fast lol.. I love rowing my own gears though so I bought a Manual GT, well of course she has the infamous MT82 in her. But anyway I would never race any of the new automatic's is my point.. The DCT's make cars with less power faster.. They stay right in the power band.. Look I ain't scared but I am not going to be in someone's Gap Cam on UA-cam LOL.. The stock 2023 10R80 Mustang GT did 11's I believe with a tire change.. I love having a manual though.. They are way more fun to drive, it's great even.. I am just glad they see the need for a stick shift class still.. Save the Manuals'...
At the beginning he is right about the guy's who race themselves to a point... For me it's not at at all about the internet I am 50 and could care less. But that being said I get what he is saying.... There are a lot of guy's out there with DCT's doing great numbers but never raced anyone or really shifted a car in their lives like with a stick and a 3rd pedal shifted! And just because they have an 6,7,8, or what ever second slip doesn't mean they can drive/race.. I get the difference.. And I agree with Alex about the World record stuff, Like they should just say their record or the cars record, because there's always someone out there faster, or right behind you ready to break your record..
Where do I take my Gen 2 Coyote for a safe 600 to 625 wheel on screws with stock headers/cats legal??? I live in South Jersey who the best closest to me????
This is how interviews are supposed to go. Smooth seamless, like 2 old friends just chopping it up. Alex is a great interview, tons of knowledge for someone as young as he is but yet very grounded. Definitely make this a regular because these two hours just flew by. 🫡
Sick Week were smart to add the chasers ect, so not only is it more attainable to the average enthusiasts, it gets his family involved, friends, now specators can chase so its ALL more relatable then you just connected your potiental next years competators by allowing them to participate..... So id say in terms of relatability, achievability, participation and marketing is genius in its on way..... I also see how real deal ( and ive had a few acquaintances that were class race champions ) would loathe it ......its an entirely different mindset and event...... He so right that most people up to a certain level are just racing themselves, all sick week does it let them do it with a lot more socialization heh
Its all about relatability. I can sign up and go race Sick week next year. I dont have the millions it takes to chase a promod series around the country all year.
Honestly Alex I think it’s because us little slow car guys can compete at the non series stuff. That’s why it’s barely any coverage on the big boy stuff . The big boy stuff require a deep wallet , extensive knowledge, and dedication. If I could make my corvette into class racer I would. But I’m a far from that speed lane.
You should break Alec off a little something or offer him a sponsor spot for his time and make this a monthly pod. These pods are invaluable.
Absolutely in for a monthly, Ford/Chevy race industry updates between these two ❤️ Tio Tactical and we need a name for Alec lol
Alec Bledsoe is top slelf. I could listen to him drop information all day.
Oh snap time stamps!!! We moving up!!! 💪🏼
Awesome interview. These need to happen more often. Still hoping to see a Sarah interview.
I'll reach out.
Always love to hear Alec speak! Thanks for the content this early thursday!
Alex you are making me late to work lol, can’t pass up watching such a great interview! Thanks for having Alec on again! You guys have a great rapport and we all benefit from this! Thanks for the upload

LMP in Baltimore, wow! I watch his Chevy videos (ZL1). My next dream car, Camaro ZL1 or SS 1LE
I know the Green Mustang you are talking about and believe Me, No one thinks that thing has anything stock about it anymore...
So glad both you touched on the clowns that are on ig making these podcast reels and have no clue. Sadly they are what's causing what's going wrong and the miss information in the car community.

Alex if you would have gotten that gen 1 black coyote..you could call it the “black swan” cause Lund has the “grey goose”👍🏻😝
