Awesome Al. those are by far the coolest use of old shells. I have a bunch of those still in the original boxes. Unfortunately I'm not as talented as you.
Very cool Al. What ever gave you that idea? Now that's thinking outside the box for sure. A great gift from a grandfather to a son or grandson. Being able to pass along an old shell full of memories to the next generation. Christmas is coming, I got time to make 2 of them. Thanks for sharing.
I honestly cant remember 😂 I've been making these since 1987. I got tired of squirrel calls that didn't work so well. The back pressure of the 1/4" hole helps a lot.
That’s very cool!! I’ve never heard of a squirrel call.. Now a video of the squirrel’s coming up to you!! Lol . Thanks for sharing!!
I actually did that in the last squirrel call video. 🤓

Pioneer game calls is where I get the tone board etc for some of my stuff. If I turn them around I think I can make a deer call out of them also.🤓
Very cool bud.
Thank ya brother
@@ALs-Outdoors you are very welcome brother! God Bless you and your Mrs's
Sounds real good.

That was pretty cool! I may try that one
Pioneer game calls has the reeds. Bend the top Reed upward a little. (Double reed).
@@ALs-Outdoors Thanks for the tip!
That's awesome!!!
Looks way nicer than my store bought hunk of plastic.
Thank ya brother. I tried hunting with them but the brass was cracking.
Oh don’t shoot the squirrels their so cute , on a plate covered In gravy lol very cool
😂 thank ya
Awesome!
Thank ya
thats cool brother
Thank ya brother
Where did you come across the rubber end bits?
Pioneer game calls online. They also have the double reeds. I gently bend the top Reed up a little at around 1/4" from the tip. Thanks for watching.
Very nice indeed, it's almost a shame to cut up those old shells, but they do have a much better look than modern junk..
I tried shooting a few...its almost like shooting a slug...the shot was kinda stuck together. And the brass split.
@@ALs-Outdoors I had a similar issue trying to shoot Somme old ones they just split.
Yes sir...Those will make'em move....
Thank ya brother
Very cool Al! How’s your wife doing?
A little better... we are talking with another hospital now about possible transplant. 3 1/2 hour drive one way for months but we will figure it out.
@@ALs-Outdoors prayers brother
1st! 😂
