My partner of almost 9 years passed away at the beginning of January this year. We lived together for 3 years and I was blessed to have known him. He was a minister and passed away from neuroblastoma cancer (a cancer that normally only affects children). He was only 42 and struggled with coming out most of his life. He bravely battled with cancer for 6 years. A couple of days after he passed I got up the strength to go back to work (retail) and I heard this song for the first time. It has truly been my anthem for getting through this transition in my life and reassures me that he is still with me every day. Thank you Ingrid for blessing us with this song. Beautiful video too.

But yes she is technically signed to an dependent label so she is an indie artist although there are definitely major mainstream labels that would like to sign her but it comes at a cost, she would have to produce a record with one of their producers and they probably decide the final cut of the album
I can't even begin to imagine how amazing this experience must have been. Ingrid has helped me in so many ways throughout my life and I could never thank her enough.

It also reminded me of something I heard off a TV show (Once Upon a Time I think) adn it said 'Surviving isn't living.'
I think if we remember that, we will be happy in life.

Me too . Losing my Mom was my biggest fear. 2020 i faced that fear because I lost her to cancer. This album takes me back to a simpler time in my life.

amazing idea, I couldn´t stop smiling and when there were the boy with the coming out and the one who cut the hair, I was so close to cry, it was really emotional, I feel really proud of Ingrid doing such a amazing stuff and especially proud of all the these people.
Ingrid made the person who was afraid of looking different look completely different, but the person afraid of disappointing their mom just had their mom come on and be all lovy.
