- Every now and again at Grassmen we like to step out of our comfort zone. When visiting Apsley Farms in the south of England a few weeks ago we got the opportunity to see something we've never experienced before - Ag Bagging. Donkey joined Douglas Wynne from AB Systems to learn more about the process and find out why its such a hit with the guys at Apsley Farms.

Brings back memories with the original Ag Bag machines when they first came to the UK, with no luxury of a cab and remember Mr Wynne's farther, David. Interesting to see the newer machines
Pushing up for the last 24 years... that's an awesome way to do it... no loader any more... all be it is a little harder to take it out of the bag ... but on the plus side no more covering pits....tight yards and small pits..... I'd happily give up the loader and sit in that all day.
Can you believe I saw this on a field today and saw this video and it works out this company is a stone through away
Same for me, I've actually been there
Seems like a great job to me. No waste, no loading shovels, no pits to hold that quantity an best of all no throwing of dirty wet tyres👍
Great Video !
It reminds me of a large prophylactic, but in Mid West USA we use lots of these good old bags for git er done farming.
loved it
Very interesting video.
Super job would love to try it
Good work
Good bit of kit
Your new shop is the best shop in the tower centre a great camera
Looks like a good solution for this size of setup. Bags simply don't work IMO though for you're small to mid sized farm, no matter what you're putting in it, because the expense of a reliable machine like this is too high and less reliable machines often have issues of not being compacted enough and too high/low moisture. Getting it out is another massive pain with your standard telehandler bucket without wasting anything, almost certainly ends in shovel work or pulling plastic out of your bucket.
That is a nice fast track

Song?
What’s the song?
For us it wouldn't make sense to put it in bags , but I think it might be a great solution for certain farmers.
Just brung the cows home yesterday
For the really big farms, I guess if you factor in the cost of building a clamp big enough to hold that amount of whole crop then it probably does make financial sense.
First comment xo
