Actually ROdri makes game easy so that players can perform best, For me ROdri is the best,
Southgate sacrified Foden to manmark Rodri so he had one of the best players not able to attack. Saka did not help in defense, Kane and Bellingham were exhausted and all the while all these youngsters on the bench aching to play. Southgate played to Spain's strengths. He might be a great guy and he is probably brilliant at motivating the team but he is not great at tactics. With all this talent, arguably the best players of the tournament, and they were made to look average at best.

Their only weakness is pulling up the handbrakes when they go 1 up.
Perhaps that was a result of over compensation for how vulnerable they looked winning 3-0 vs Croatia.

Avoiding all the top teams at the tournament till the final game, engerlund always get the easier teams in the qualifiers and then in the tournament itself, Serbia Denmark Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Holland, as opposed to Germany,Italy, France, Croatia, Albania and Serbia, two very different paths to the final and ,if asked, every Englishman and his dog wouldve picked the route that engerlund got, only playing one of the top European sides, and in the final game, that's why your team failed 😅

Deschamps criticism is his over reliance on Mbappe to get goals. Let's be honest, managers can't go on forever and lack of France's play stank up the tournament.
Jules reluctance to critique Deschamps is definitely a national thing and based on Deschamps' accolades.

Not really. Lamine was the only barca player in the starting lineup then olmo and cucu were the only other two to come through la masia
@@Masterful100 If you are a hater just say that....Barca had 3 youth products starting the Euros finals ...Yamal, Cucarella and Olmo ......Barca's other players that were involved were Ferran, Pedri and Fermin....While the likes of Balde and Gavi were involved in the qualification and only missed out due to Injury....you are either uninformed or a hater .
@@Rodney231 not a hater. It's just objectively wrong that barca was the 'engine' behind Spain's success when only one of their players starts. And then two other starters were at their academy at one point.
If anything the basque country was far more influential. Oyarzarbal, merino and le Normand from sociedad and Williams, unai Simon, laporte from bilbao

Spanish success in international football has always been rooted with Barcelona ...check the squad for 1964,2008,2010,2012 and the most recent 2024.....
@@Rodney231 bilbao had 3 academy products as did barca. Thing is barca can't really credit olmo as much cos he left at 16 whereas all bilbaos guys did academy all the way to first team at bilbao. But I'll let you have olmo. Which makes 3 from bilbao academy and 3 from barca academy.
And real sociedad have the most players in the squad of any club.
