There is no dangerous glass on Glass Beach. It has all been polished by wave action.

Very little is left on Glass Beach. I was there last September.

There is more than one 'glass beach' You have to know where the other is.

You have to wait until after a storm. The swell brings it back in. As chilly as it is it's best in the winter.

You should've added that olivine, the source of the green sand beach in Hawai'i, is aka peridot, the August birthstone. It's a xenolith, meaning it comes up from the Earth's mantle, not the crust.

When you talk about Glass Beach you also need to remind beachgoers that they cannot remove or take any glass

Then can get the glass in Ft. Bragg at the Glass Museum on Hwy. 1.

sadly the glass beach has been decimated due to over picking of the glass by people. there is hardly any glass left . such a shame.

Cavendish Beach in Prince Edward Island Canada also has red sand. It's easier to get to that beaches then the one in Hawaii but much colder.

Really? There are 825 miles of beaches on the Coast lines of Florida and you didnt even bother checking out the unique quality of Siesta Key for the fluffiest, softest, whitest sand on the planet and the sand feels and sounds like snow when you walk on it. You could have left off 1 Hawaiian beach for the best beach in the world. Now i dare you to do the top 15 beacges in Florida. I know them because i am a Floridian and i believe we have some of the best beaches on the planet!

Liked the visuals, found the narration really annoying.

Agreed! Wanted to hear about what makes the sand coloured, not the history or any of that other info.
